"08-AUG-2025 Issues began immediately after hiring Pro Foundation & Masonry. During the estimate, I told Foreman Bobby there was no mortar in the cinder blocks. He gave a quote that I believed included proper mortar. On Aug-12-2025, I raised the issue again?he said he was ?focused on the damaged area.? When digging, a missing footing section was found, and Bobby quoted $22,500, which I thought was too high. Though he fixed some cracks, major ones in the cellar were ignored. They used the wrong mortar (not S mortar as discussed) and left sloppy drippings inside the wall. I sent photos on Aug-23; Bobby replied on Aug-25 saying the floor was dirt. Promised cleanup on Aug-30 never happened. I followed up repeatedly?no one came. They even left a dangerous cinder remnant that I tripped on. A section of wall was filled with concrete instead of block?looks unprofessional. They say one thing, do another. I?m very unhappy with their work and service. They're gonna fix the two crack on my fieldstone foundation. The manager Rey came and he felt really bad that the foreman left in this way they left it. He was really pretty readsonable."

"Mixed review I had spoken with other radon remediation companies and received quotes before meeting with Erickson Foundation Solutions. The salesman, Chris, seemed much more thorough in his approach and he gave a presentation explaining radon, its danger and the process to remove it. The quote was slightly higher than another quote, but I felt more confident. And with the added fan moisture guard, the system came with a 10-year warranty. So I agreed to the proposed plan and paid a deposit. Later I decided to not install concrete in the adjacent (but not connected) basement/crawl space. I asked Erickson to quote installation of plastic sheeting to seal that space. John, the sales manager’s quote doubled the total price. I already had found durable plastic sheeting for about $300. So how would that become $2000 extra? John explained that there would be a drainage mat under the plastic and it would be attached every few inches to the walls and then sealed with caulking. But besides sealing the area, the quote also included another extraction hole and piping to connect it to the fan. This seemed to me like over-kill for a 1200 square-foot house. But he said without the second extraction location, they would not warranty the job. So I accepted the “up-sell” and signed. Today the office called to tell me when the crew would arrive and they arrived on time and were very pleasant. However, they did not have the drainage mat. They called their supervisor and was told that it was not included in the quote and would be an additional charge. In fact it had been a verbal inclusion, not written. The crew was surprised that a second extraction hole was quoted, since the radon levels were not very high to start (3.8 and 5.4). So I feel that I accepted a possibly unnecessarily elaborate system, more elaborate than I probably really need, for twice the price. And didn’t receive the drainage mat that I was told would be part of it."

They did the work efficiently and while drilling concrete to install sump pump systems is a mess, they warned us and did their best to make sure the basement was left as clean as possible. They also call us to remind us of the mandatory annual system check (for the warranty) and make our appointment. Also, whenever we have had issues or thought that something was not working properly they came out very quickly to solve or explain the issue - very knowledgable staff."

"Scheduling was dependent on the street work, but once Bill gave me a definite date, they stuck with it. We told him they'd have to enter our basement to shut off the water between 7:00-7:30am, and that was no problem. We had to leave the bulkhead to the basement unlocked since we were at work all day - the rest of the house was still locked - no problems there either. Not only did the job finish on time (by about 3:00pm) but they even fixed the concrete floor around the water meter which had been previously damaged, no extra charge.
Small detail: after receiving Bill's written proposal for the work, we requested a guarantee or warranty. He was happy to offer 3 years which was enough for us - the point is that they stand by their work. 
Overall it might have been possible to find a slightly lower price, but the quality of work along with Bill's responsiveness and flexible scheduling left us very satisfied. We would definitely use this company again for excavation work.
