"I would highly recommend George for any of your plaster repair or install needs. He responded to the inquiry very quickly, came out to see the work that needed to be done and provided a fair estimate all within a few days. The same week he then came out to do the work. Before starting, George completely protected the surrounding walls and floors and he walked me through the process and what he was and wasn’t going to do, even discussing why the “failures” happened in the first place, how he was going to fix it so that it didn’t happen again, and got to work. The work was done thoroughly and efficiently and looks great. He cleaned up all of the protective sheets from the walls and floors, and swept and vacuumed the area before leaving. He then discussed how long to let the plaster cure before I could paint. The ceilings look really good and are, with light sanding, ready for paint. The experience with George from start to finish was great, the results are more than expected, and I even learned a few things. He stands by his work (remember the comment about how he was going to fix the issues to not happen again) and will come out to fix any issues with his work, if they should occur. "I hired Bob to do repairs and renovation of a condo rental unit. He renovated the bathroom with new tiles, replacing bathroom rotten wood frame window with a vinyl frame, installing new light fixtures and repairing bathroom plumbing, repairing torn screens, as well as repainting interior walls and trim throughout the unit and installing new shades throughout. He also plastered water-damaged ceilings and cleaned and organized the basement storage area. On the exterior he replaced a rotted window frame and missing clapboards, then patched and painted the wall. Bob arrived early each day and worked diligently. "I had 3 Angie's list pros give us an estimate. All were prompt and professional and fair in pricing for what they were going to do. We chose CD Plastering because Con seemed to get what we really wanted which was to get the walls ready to paint. Con and his helper, Mike, came on time and worked continuously all day. They took 2 breaks which didn't total 30 min! They cleaned up everything and took it with them. Con came back 2 days later to lightly sand the walls. We have asked for an estimate from him to smooth plaster all our textured walls and touch up some ceilings. Highly recommend CD Plastering."
