"Chimney experts was very professional in both scheduling and the job. Al was very thorough to not only look at the chimney, but also to stay with me until we had fully built a fire and had it burning long enough to run a full test of the appliance. Would highly suggest for inspection and installation- they know the business well."

"Jim replaced a fireplace chimney damper for me and I would hire him again in a heartbeat. He kept me informed about timing, did quality work, and took the time to explain everything. He knows how to work around obstacles since heâ s been doing this for over 30 years. I couldnâ t be happier with his work!"

"MasonWorks was taking over for a contractor who had run out of steam in mid-project, so it was challenging for them...and there were details left un-addressed by the original contractor. They showed up with the right number of people, then they said they'd show up. They immediately identified design issues, and solved them on the spot (a poor layout for the fire pit, and no border design). They free-handed a beautiful layout for the fire pit, and suggested a really nice border design. The job was started on a Wednesday morning. It rained like crazy on Thursday, and they finished Friday. This was after months of playing footsie with my previous contractor. The solved my problem, and left me with a gorgeous patio...quickly and professionally. They also stayed past 5:00 on the last day to get the job done quickly. So, smoothly done."

"I contacted them late on 3/24/19, the next day I got a response. Two days later Silvio came to my house to assess the job and we had the patio installed on 4/2. Silvio and his team were extremely nice and worked very diligently and we’re so happy with our new patio! The price was very competitive as well!"

"Legacy Stoneworks installed my patio and walkway recently . I am very pleased with the superior craftsmanship and the timeliness of the project considering a couple days of rain. The crew were very polite, on time and were mindful of the property leaving it clean at the end of the day. Rodrigo is the ultimate professional that really cares about his clients and making them happy with excellent craftsmanship. It was an absolute pleasure to do business with him and I highly recommend Legacy for any stonework."

FAQs for fire pit installation projects in Harvard, MA

Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.

When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
