"I needed my entryway stairs and porches replaced due to age. I found MMP Construction here on Angie’s list, and contacted them through the website. Matt, the owner, called me back the next day and we arranged a time for him to come and give me an estimate. He showed up exactly when he said he would, and emailed me the estimate the next day. When I hired him, he told me upfront that it would be a while before he could start due to an ongoing project he was working on. I appreciated that. When the time came for him to start, there were some delays, mainly weather related, and he was very conscientious about calling me and letting me know what was going on and when to expect them. Although the project took longer than I expected to be finished, I am very happy with the finished product. Matt is excellent at communication. He took care of all permits, and arranged all inspections. His crew was always on time. They did an excellent job cleaning up after they were done, and the finished project was fantastic. I would definitely recommend MMP Construction, and would not hesitate to use them again in the future."

Richard met with me to understand what my objectives were for the project.  He guided every step, through his innovative website with incredibly helpful articles, as well as personally through phone calls and meetings.  He created detailed drawings of the existing property as well as the deck design which enabled educated conversations with town officials for permit approvals, as well as to estimate costs for the project with various suppliers.  He was a great sounding board for different options which enabled me to come to educated decisions despite never having done this particular project before.

Richard is a tremendous asset and I would highly recommend anyone embarking on a home renovation to employ his services.  He will support you throughout the project and in the end save you countless time and money that would otherwise have been wasted.  His fee is extremely reasonable relative to the information, and counseling he provides.

"My wife and I moved into our home in the spring of 2022. Our house is 20 years old and it was our dream to redo our kitchen. We had no experience working with contractors before and when we asked around our neighborhood for recommendations, Perry Brothers came up over and over. We came up with a wish list which required renovating the kitchen, taking down walls, refinishing and replacing floors on the first and second floor, putting in a beam and crown molding and repainting large pieces of our home. (A tall order) Perry brothers sent over Mike Hathaway to lead our project. This guy redefines professional. He helped in every step of the process. "DiOrio Builders & Designers has been excellent to work with on several projects around our 1890s colonial home in Boston. Over the last few years, they have painted the interior of our house, installed hardwood flooring, rebuilt our front porch, installed French drains in the back, reinforced and repointed our granite foundation, rebuilt our kitchen floor and tiled it, and installed numerous lights and a range hood. The quality of work is top-notch and they were great to work with. Pricing was fair, communication was professional and timelines were met. I recommend them to all my friends."

"Khaled, of Abalia arrived on time, and quickly assessed a loose shingle issue with the roof of our detached garage. Security rope over the roof, ladder to the lower edge of the roof, 10 minutes "on site", and done. Good as new. Could not have asked for / expected better service."

"Very well.  I acted as general contractor after my builder disappeared in the middle of the job.  I had some good contractors and some not so good ones.  HS Plastering and Painting was at the top of the good list.  The quality of their work was very good; no complaints there at all.  But what stood out was the experience of working with them.  They came when asked, did what they were asked to do, acted in a professional manner, stood by their work, and were a true pleasure to have as a contractor.  They were quick, worked weekends to get the job done, and didn't cut corners.

"Pedro and his team were excellent. They were professional and timely, hard-working and meticulous, and trustworthy. Best of all (at least for me), is that Pedro is VERY responsive and his team is assigned to get your job done and done correctly. They show up on time every day, and were willing to work late into the evening to hit the project milestones. Pedro was 100% clear about the costs, and he made sure I fully understood the areas where the costs were not known or where the costs could possibly change. For example, he said, "If you open up this wall, I'm not sure what we are going to find." I told him to proceed and his team opened up that wall and found that the previous contractor had installed literally zero insulation. Pedro met with me, reviewed what his team had found, went over all of our options, gave me his recommendation, and only proceeded when I completely approved the additional work that would be done and the additional cost entailed. Pedro is a true partner and his team does great work. I cannot recommend them enough. My wife and I have already booked them for another job renovating a first floor porch and creating a roof over the open-air second floor porch."
