"I have worked with different contractors before but Richard is on a different level. I do not usually write review but in this case I feel obligated to write one given how wonderful he was. Not only was he hardworking, he was kind and would go to any length to make sure the needs of his clients are met. Our work with Richard started last March, we wanted an extra space for guests and the initial plan was to finish a room on top of our garage. Given my bad experiences with previous projects, I wanted to be careful in choosing a contractor. So I came on Angie’s list and was reading through different reviews for different contractors. When I got Richard’s, I liked all the reviews but what really got me hooked was the single negative review on his profile. I read through Richard’s rebuttal and knew right away we found the right person. I appreciated how he explained in details (without being defensive or sounding angry) what the issues with that project were. I reached out to him immediately and even though he was on vacation with his wonderful wife (who I later met) he responded right away and we were able to fix a time to meet. He met with me and my husband at the house and he explained in full details how he works from designing down to completion of the project. We explained to him what we wanted and he promised to give us a quote in few day which he did. Given how much the initial project was going to cost, Richard suggested that it would be cost effective to finish the basement instead. And thank God we took his advice, now not only do we have an extra room for our guest, we also have an extra living area and an extra bathroom. Richard carried us along all every step of the way, he was always asking for our opinions and always making sure that our needs were met. From design, to permit (which required multiple visit to the city hall), to hiring sub-contractors, I never for once had any regrets. We had few bumps on the road, but Richard was there to calm our anxiety and to provide solutions. Cost was well willing our budget. I have never seen anyone worked so hard for his client. This man worked harder than any 30 year-old around. We are very happy with the final product and would definitely hire him again. As I have told him jokingly that I hope he does not retire any time soon."

"My wife and I moved into our home in the spring of 2022. Our house is 20 years old and it was our dream to redo our kitchen. We had no experience working with contractors before and when we asked around our neighborhood for recommendations, Perry Brothers came up over and over. We came up with a wish list which required renovating the kitchen, taking down walls, refinishing and replacing floors on the first and second floor, putting in a beam and crown molding and repainting large pieces of our home. (A tall order) Perry brothers sent over Mike Hathaway to lead our project. This guy redefines professional. He helped in every step of the process. He helped plan, price, schedule and execute our vision. My wife and I were worried about budget and timing, and Mike made sure we were always heard and taken care of. He is truly a can do person and was super kind in the face of any of our anxieties. The work Perry Brother performed is nothing short of remarkable. To say we were surprised at the end product is an understatement. In a time where interest rates are extremely high, making the most of your home is extremely important. My wife and I have a one year old and another one due in March. After all the work we did, it really feels like we had a chance to put our fingerprint down and we would highly recommend working with Perry Brothers again. "I hired Quality Construction (QC) to build a 22x24 two car garage, started from preparing the site. Turns out the site has ledge, QC worked with the foundation guy and did it very reasonable price. QC framed in garage, matched existing vinyl siding to house, iced and water shield the whole roof. QC installed garage door and garage side entrance door. QC installed gutter for the garage and also a French drain behind the garage, paved a new drive way leading to the garage. I also hired QC to build a deck between the house and the garage. Very thing comes out so beautiful excellent job. There is no issue working with QC. I really appreciate his workmanship and efficiency according to the schedule. I definitely will hire him for my future projects again. As a matter of fact, two of my neighbors have hired him for their projects."
