"Service was above and beyond our expectations. Eber and Marco were awesome to work with along with their crew, very professional, friendly, and down to earth. We have a few more projects we would love to have them work on for us in the near future. My wife and I couldn't have been more satisfied with the level of service we received. The project started a couple days earlier than projected which worked out great. They simply got the job done no questions asked. Strongly recommend if you have any tree or yard maintenance needs"

"C&J Tree service did an excellent job clearing some trees that were diseased on my property. They were on time, courteous and efficiently removed the trees and stumps, leaving the area ready for some fresh landscaping in the spring time (which I've already hired them to do). I highly recommend their services and plan to use them again for another project later this year to have arborvitae trees planted around the property line."

Customers say: Quality work

"Bernard and his crew ere simply great. Very quick and responsive and very reasonably priced for the scope of the project. Bernard listened and understood exactly what was needed: removing 3 trees whose branches were overhanging utility lines. He got the job done the same day. I highly recommend B&R tree service. By the way, his office manager/ scheduler is so polite and professional which was simply amazing!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Signs that tree service in Framingham may need to be redone include stubby or uneven branch cuts, excessive sprouting, or bark tearing—often from improper pruning. Watch for dieback, visible fungal growth, or pest infestations like borer holes. Unbalanced canopies, weak branch attachments, or limbs encroaching on power lines are red flags. Increased storm damage or declining health also signal the need for a professional arborist’s review.

Helpful?

Tree service in Framingham provides immediate safety by reducing storm-related hazards and preventing power outages. Proper tree trimming can boost curb appeal and help shade your home, lowering summer cooling needs. Over time, healthy trees improve stormwater drainage, support local wildlife, and increase property value. Consistent maintenance also helps trees withstand New England’s changing weather and contributes to a healthier neighborhood environment.

Helpful?

When planning tree service in Framingham, check if permits are needed for removing mature trees, especially those near sidewalks or historic districts. Consider the best timing—late fall or winter is ideal for most species, but avoid spring pruning for oaks due to wilt risk. Be aware of local pests like winter moth caterpillars, and choose native species for replacements to support Framingham’s ecosystem and climate.

Helpful?

In Framingham, tree removal or trimming can impact underground utilities, especially with large maples or oaks common in the area. Roots may interfere with water lines, sewer systems, or even foundation stability, particularly in neighborhoods with clay-heavy soil. If trees are close to power lines, HVAC units, or septic systems, professional assessment is essential to avoid accidental damage and ensure safe, efficient tree service.

Helpful?

In Framingham, tree maintenance includes annual fall leaf cleanup, winter inspections for ice or wind damage, and spring checks for pests like gypsy moths. Mature trees benefit from professional pruning every 3-5 years and periodic deep root fertilization, especially in sandy or compacted soils. Regularly monitor for disease, mulch to retain moisture, water during dry spells, and ensure branches maintain safe clearance from utility lines.
