"Paul promptly responded to my inquiry, inspected my property, provided an estimate for the scope of the work when I contacted him in May. He also responded quickly to any additional questions I had regarding how the work would be performed or what was included in the quote, revised the quote once I informed him I was an Angie's List member, and provided references (all very positive) for similar work done. We loosely scheduled the work for the end of July based on other jobs that were already booked. In the middle of the month I reached out to Paul and he told me that barring any unforeseen weather they would start on the 26th. Paul and his crew arrived on the 26th as promised and worked 9 straight days and finished the work on August 3rd. I was very pleased with their work ethic and professionalism. In particular, I was pleased with how diligent they were in preparing the painting surfaces, caulking and filling any and all gaps in the exterior woodwork of the house, repairing damaged stucco, and replacing a few rotted shingles. When they finally got to painting, they followed our color instructions and were very detailed oriented in terms of the trim, windows, and other border surfaces. Also, Paul was extremely accommodating in terms of any requests presented to them (I had some interior windows that required staining and was given a very reasonable price to have it done). All in all, and most importantly, the house looks great. I feel very comfortable and confident that if there is anything I need to follow-up with Paul about, it will get done promptly."

When we walked around my house to going over what work needed to be done, he asked a lot questions and gave me some advice about different projects around the house. He also provided more than one estimate, so that we have different options to which we could choose from. Brian’s crew worked efficiently and did an excellent job with our exterior trim and deck. They scraped, sanded, primed and painted the trim of our house and sanded and painted our deck, not only to make it look better, but to preserve it for years to come. Thank you Kennedy Painting!"

"Derrick arrived on time to assess the deck. He was very professional, personable, and accommodating. Our deck was in tough shape but he worked with us to stay within our budget and still not cut any corners. We were more than pleased with his work and being very punctual ."

"I've used Steve and his crew twice before in the past, so I knew they would do quality work. After we had a giant bay window installed in our home, along with 9 replacement windows and two new construction windows, Steve's team came in to do the painting and staining of the trim and affected wall areas.
They did a great job, even under "special circumstances": my wife had a surprise birthday party for me scheduled in our home one week after they started (construction took longer than expected), and she was secretly trying to get Steve's team to rush to help make the place presentable in time. The bay window was a beast to get done, especially considering my wife decided she wanted the main shelf part stained instead of painted, and the construction crew had damage some of the wood in that area. They worked tirelessly to make it look great though, even putting in artful touches to make the damaged areas look like natural knots in the wood. I think in the end they did 5 or 6 coats of stain and poly on it to make it really gleam.
In the end they got all the visible areas done in time for the party, for which my wife was very grateful. And the work looks fabulous, as always. 
Quality Preferred Painting are my "go-to" team for any painting work we have done, and I'd hire them again in a second.

"Erivan has done a lot of painting over the years for our triple decker - exterior and interior. This summer he painted our rental unit and as usual did a wonderful job - he shows up on time, is very neat, and does a very professional job. He also just power washed and stained our first floor porch, painted some new window trims that we'd just had replaced, and also repainted some of the trim around the porch even though we hadn't asked him to do so. It looks great! Erivan takes great pride in his work and we always feel like he's taking care of our home as if it is his own. He is also a very warm and friendly person."

"Very well. At first I thought all I needed was to have the individual peeling shingles re-painted but Sean showed me that the previous painters hadn't primed or used the proper paint. So we came to an agreement on a very fair price, and he totally stripped, primed and stained the side of my house, the trim, plus the side deck and deck steps. He even filled a hole a woodpecker made in the trim and replaced a rotted section of trim before painting it. He was prompt, thorough and EXTREMELY neat with his work. He and his helper cleaned up their area so thoroughly you'd never know they had been there. Sean was very reliable and I would highly recommend him. I will absolutely call him the next time I need painting done."

"This took place a couple of years ago. What I remember is a personable crew, had no problems with scheduling or neatness. However, we had to have them back to re-paint some stained areas of 2 bathroom ceilings. We ended up fixing them ourselves. I don't remember the cost."
