They were so courteous and respectful and meticulous in their prep and carpentry work- and we had A LOT of things that needed fixing like rotted windowsills, broken deck stairs, incomplete trim moulding, broken shingles and a crooked garage cupola. They fixed it all! Now my 115 year old house looks so beautiful and I can’t thank Paul and his team enough. They were also so tidy and cleaned up their work areas every afternoon before they left. If you’re considering Olde England Painting just hire them. You will not be disappointed. Last but not least, they were also the most reasonable quote I got and I met with 5 other painters. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!"

"I can’t say enough about them, pleasant polite professional! They left their boots by the front door as to not track in and out, everything was carefully protected. They did a beautiful job our space looks so fresh and updated. We had a hard time nailing down a date initially, they were pretty busy when we contacted them for a time frame, but we didn’t have a specific date in mind and it didn’t matter to us when the project got started so to us it didn’t matter. They don’t have a giant crew which means you can trust in their work and not worry about subcontractors doing the actual work. They sent us large format paint samples from our top three choices which really helped narrow down the color and not have to rely on those tiny paint swatches from the hardware store. I’ve never hired anyone to paint before, but this job was just too much for me to tackle, they came in and got it done in one day. From the initial consult and quote, to the painting guys, we couldn’t be happier. Our quoted contract was clearly defined and the price remained the same, they even separated a secondary quote for some bathroom and ceiling work to be done at a later date. They delivered on their exact word. They even left us the leftover paint for down the road touch ups. We will most certainly be calling them again. One thing worth mentioning was our contract did say they would move necessary furniture to accommodate the painting but we decided to just move everything ourselves the night before so they could just get right to it. We’re able to move stuff around so we just got the spaces extra ready so they wouldn’t have to deal with shuffling furniture around when they got there."

"Derrick arrived on time to assess the deck. He was very professional, personable, and accommodating. Our deck was in tough shape but he worked with us to stay within our budget and still not cut any corners. We were more than pleased with his work and being very punctual ."

"Our house was in desperate need of exterior paint, and the shingles were in bad shape. We got a lot of estimates, but Brian seemed the most knowledgeable and the most reasonable in terms of cost. He and his crew were very professional and, even better, very responsive to our texts and phone calls (something that is unusual in any contractor). This is the first time we've had to have a house painted, and naturally we had a lot of questions. Brian was extremely patient with us and answered all our questions and offered us aesthetic advice as well, that always ended up being the right thing to do! He even helped us pick out the right stain for our stairs, by buying samples himself and painting examples on different steps. He was also very accommodating when we added a few things to the initial job (replacing a broken window pane, painting/staining our back deck) or changed our minds about other things. The condition of our house and unpredictable weather made the job take longer than expected, but the crew head, Alex, took the time to do everything right. When we had concerns, Brian always addressed them immediately, and those that he couldn't address right away due to weather or other circumstances, he promised to address at a later date. We have found very few contractors that are so flexible and willing to work with the client to get the job done right. We love the way our house looks (as do the neighbors!), and we highly recommend Brian."

"Today the Quality Preferred Painting crew finished another job on our house. This is the 4th time we've hired them. They repainted our finished basement ceiling after we had a mold issue fixed, then sealed and repainted the inside of an exterior-facing concrete wall that had some paint damage from moisture transfer, re-painted our front door, and then prepped and re-painted the exterior trim of our house around where we had a huge bay window installed. As always they did a terrific job, were always on time (early, actually) and meticulous in detail. Hire Steve and his crew -- they will do a fantastic job for you."

"The house was built in 1950 and I bought it less than a year ago. I don't think the exterior had been stained in over 20 years because the prep work took most of the old stain off down to the natural cedar shakes. Al and his team did a fantastic job not just prepping the house which was a big ordeal, but also replacing any cedar shakes and wood trim pieces that had rotted over the years. The attention to detail was greater than I expected and he was very flexible with my requests. Thank you Al!!!"

"Erivan has done a lot of painting over the years for our triple decker - exterior and interior. This summer he painted our rental unit and as usual did a wonderful job - he shows up on time, is very neat, and does a very professional job. He also just power washed and stained our first floor porch, painted some new window trims that we'd just had replaced, and also repainted some of the trim around the porch even though we hadn't asked him to do so. It looks great! Erivan takes great pride in his work and we always feel like he's taking care of our home as if it is his own. He is also a very warm and friendly person."

"It went very well. I had some water damage on my ceiling in my Kitchen. My kitchen and dinning and living room share the same ceiling and I had other painters price me for the whole ceiling, Sean came in and said he could "feather it in" so I would only have to do the Kitchen saving me more than half the costs. He did that and I can't tell where he ended also the water stains are gone!! He's a nice guy and knows his profession!! Would definitely recommend him!"
