"Gaby helped us remodel our kitchen. We wanted to keep our existing custom cabinets but modernize the appearance. Gaby transformed the look from a country style kitchen to a more modern, crisp design by: -extending the cabinets about 10” to the ceiling, and adding molding and trim work -replacing faux legs in our island and cooking area with clean edges -building custom decorative panels for the island and columns -removing a cabinet to make room for a beverage center -countless repairs and fixes Gaby also coordinated painting - both the cabinets and the ceiling/walls, and painted over 50 cabinet doors/drawers himself. The painting turned out absolutely beautiful and professional - as if the cabinets were white from the beginning. He also coordinated many of the other jobs, including recommending an electrician for us who was also very reliable and professional. In many ways, he acted like a GC for us in addition to a carpenter. Can’t say enough about Gaby. He is an outstanding, meticulous carpenter. He knows his stuff in and out. He is reliable, prompt, efficient, reasonable, and goes above and beyond to deliver amazing results. "I hired Bob to do repairs and renovation of a condo rental unit. He renovated the bathroom with new tiles, replacing bathroom rotten wood frame window with a vinyl frame, installing new light fixtures and repairing bathroom plumbing, repairing torn screens, as well as repainting interior walls and trim throughout the unit and installing new shades throughout. He also plastered water-damaged ceilings and cleaned and organized the basement storage area. On the exterior he replaced a rotted window frame and missing clapboards, then patched and painted the wall. Bob arrived early each day and worked diligently. "I received a call from Michael that due to a pending snow storm on Monday, Mike would be available to perform the work on the Saturday before the storm. He arrived right on time and reviewed the work to be done.  Mike was easy to work with and made helpful suggestions. Originally the intent was to install moulding trim around the kitchen door but the space is so tight near the refrigerator I opted to fill the gap and smooth to the same finish as the rest of the wall. He also worked with me to decide the best height for the dryer vent to match the LG specs for the dryer.  Mike worked methodically and finished earlier than expected.
The compounding around the door remained soft for two days and sunk into the frame.  The gap filled was fairly deep.  I called and asked to have it repaired.  Mr. Handyman sent Don who came and added compound and finished the job. Don came earlier than expected so we didn't waste time waiting.  The door frame area is firm and ready to paint one day later.  Mr. Handyman stands behind its work and I would not hesitate to call them again.

"I was happy with the work done by Matt and his crew on my roof replacement. Of the highlights, Matt excelled at customer service. I had spoken to several contractors during the bidding process and Matt clearly stood out as someone to provide detailed guidance and credible advice on the project. As my roof was being replaced as part of an insurance claim, Matt took the initiative to bring in additional contractors to build out an initial estimate for all of the work, to get things moving with the insurance company, which was a huge help. Matt took things a bit further and spoke directly with the insurance company regarding details of my roof and other work that was not started yet and was able to help me gain significantly more coverage than originally provided! Matt was always available for questions and promptly returned my calls and emails throughout the process. In one instance, I had requested that they hold off on installation of the ice and water shield one day due to the cold temperatures. Matt agreed to this with no hesitation, even though it required them to work the weekend to complete the work. Per my inspection throughout the roofing process and after, everything looked good and I found only a few things that were missed, which Matt took care of immediately. Some mess and nails were left behind after the work, but it was fairly minimal. Due to the scale of the work, Matt / MMP did bring in subcontractors to perform much of the standard roofing work. I would have appreciated if MMP was more forthcoming about this earlier in the process. MMP had someone from their team on-site for the entire process, but I think that they could have kept a closer eye on the sub-contractors work. For the more challenging tasks, Matt came out and did the work himself. He and his team worked hard throughout the process, working long hours and through the weekend to get everything completed in a timely manner and reduce risk of water leakage in case of rain. I will certainly consider MMP for future work on my house."
