Frank Oliveira Painting and Carpentry

Frank did an excellent job on our time sensitive interior painting job and carpentry work. He completed on time and on budget, even with a few add ins by us at the last minute. Frank continues to be a pleasure to work with and we are so very pleased with the final product! We look forward to working with Frank again in the future!

Frank did an excellent job. Couldn't have gone any better. The deck had been in need of refinishing since we moved in three years ago so it needed a lot of prep work before being painted. He's extremely meticulous and paid attention to every detail to make sure it came out just right. He replaced all the boards that had decay and then even came back a couple months later when they had dried and painted those as well! Absolutely thrilled with how it came out.

This is our third time working with Frank Oliveira Painting and Carpentry and we continue to be exceptionally happy with the services. Our home really needed a good exterior refresh and some maintenance. Frank was the first to come to mind to handle the job. He came out right away to quote the work and was more than flexible in troubleshooting some challenges that arose; as well as adding to the original scope of the project on the fly (at our request). We felt his pricing was fair and the quality of the work exceeded our expectations. Both he and Keith were professional, communicated well, and were prompt. We've gotten numerous compliments from family, friends, and various neighbors. We look forward to continuing to work with them on future projects.

Frank's price was very competitive, and the work was fantastic. He is very conscientious. He told me he'd do everything to make sure the finished product is excellent and to my satisfaction and he delivered on that. My house is notorious for structural issues and Frank had to work around many issues. He put in a lot of extra time and effort to make sure everything was done correctly despite the challenges. He let me know any time there were issues that he needed to work around and throughout the process he gave me good options and advised me well. His painting is excellent as well and he's a good guy. Very happy with the staircase.

I hired Frank to repair my 120 year old walls after I took wallpaper down, and it was the best decision. Frank and his team were AMAZING! They were prompt, professional, courteous and neat. Within two days my walls were ready to be painted and they look incredible. I could not be happier, and I will be using Frank again.

Frank and his team did a wonderful job bringing our deck back to life! Our previous stain was fading and peeling, and the deck was in desperate need of some sanding and new stain. Frank and his guys were friendly and very knowledgeable, and helped explain the importance of a good quality stain, and made recommendations on brands and colors that would work well for us. In true summer-in-New England fashion, the timeline of the project needed to be adjusted to work around heavy rainfall. Throughout the process, Frank made sure to communicate with us and let us know the progress that they had made, and next steps. They were diligent about continuing to work on the deck when the weather allowed - even on 80+ degree days! The team's dedication and hard work really shows - our deck looks amazing and we are so happy with the outcome! Frank and his team were great. They started working just before the Christmas holiday, and were very amenable to my schedule over the holiday week while i was traveling. Their work was high quality and they cleaned up everyday before leaving. The very few issues that I asked about were corrected with no problem. He even relocated a bathroom fixture so that I could fit a mirror. I would definitely hire Frank again.

I had new baseboards recently installed in my living room that were cut for length and semi-attached, if at all, by a previous contractor that does carpentry work only. I called Frank Oliveira's company for an estimate and Frank is a contractor that returns your phone calls. I hired his company to do the job that needed to be done. On the day of the job, I noticed a 3rd window sill that needed a little work. Frank and Keith was able to fix it. While working on the living room, whenever Frank and Keith noticed a minor blemish on the wall as both of them have a keen eye for detail, they fixed it. When the work was all done, both Frank and Keith crawled on the floor 2 times around in the areas where they worked looking for sand dust that was missed and wipe up a couple of paint drops that missed the drop cloth. Cleanup is equally important as doing the job, which I saw first hand. I will be calling Frank Oliveira Painting & Carpentry for future jobs!

They came on time both for quotation and work. They were respectful, no loud music, daily clean-ups. Weather was unfavorable throughout. They worked very hard and beyond (incl. a Sat.) to do the extensive prep (older house) and get the painting and the repair work on the pillars done properly. The did a proper walk around with the owner at the finish of the job. We were very satisfied and will hire them again. We had 'corporate' painters before but prefer this smaller outfit.

We can't say enough good things about Frank and his team. Frank came out promptly to quote the work, which was competitively priced. He communicated clearly regarding expectations on the scope of the work and timing. He showed up promptly, communicated with us throughout the project on the progress (and some of the nuance of the work, which was appreciated), and exceeded our expectations with both the quality and efficiency. He and Keith kept a tidy workspace and were both very professional. One of the best indicators for us of a job exceptionally done - Is that had we not known what work was performed, we never would know that anything ever needed to be repaired. We are thrilled with the work performed and will most certainly be reaching out to Frank in the future.

They showed up a little earlier than scheduled. They were careful to cover everything and cleaned up nicely when they were done and the room came out great. Definately having Frank back to do more work.

Frank is very responsive and always willing to work through issues and solve problems. We had a relatively challenging exterior painting project that was held up by weather delays but Frank and crew worked through all the issues to complete the job. Frank had to perform a fair amount of carpentry as well as come up with solutions to issues left behind by past contractors. He even helped us work through our apprehension about leaving up our ugly exterior storm windows by painting them the same color as the window trim. Frank is responsive and if you don't reach him, you'll definitely get a call back. Refreshing to find a contractor that will always call you back and show up when he says.

Frank and Keith did a wonderful job painting my family room and hallway. Not only were they great painters with extreme attention to detail, but they also did an exceptional job cleaning up after themselves. Very impressed and would use them again.

The 3 man crew completed the job in about 2 weeks. There was extensive scraping because the house hadn't been painted in over 10 years. My wife and I are satisfied with the finished job.

Pretty good. Not the best paint job, not the worst. Left paint on towel and toilet tissue holders. Otherwise, pretty good. Very friendly and knowledgeable guy.

Frank was very responsive upon inquiry. He was logical and thoughtful in coming up with a solution for the gaps between our windows and the house. It is obvious that he has an abundance of experience. The type of paint to use was also well considered. Frank and his team were meticulous with their work and I received a status update just about every day.

Frank did a great job painting our first-floor family room and kitchen. He makes sure you are happy and takes care of any issues that might arise. His work is great and the rooms turned out fantastic.

The work was completed in a timely fashion. Very neat with cleanup the end of each day.

Frank was very attentive to quality and detail. He paid particular attention to paint color matching as we wanted to maintain the existing colors. The staff were fastidious throughout the job, cleaning up everyday and not leaving equipment or materials around for kids or pets to get into. Finishing the job was difficult as wet and freezing weather was causing delays, but they hung in there making sure the temps during application were within manufacturer specs. We could not be happier with the result: a solid, vibrant coat of stain and paint applied with care and pride in the work done.

Frank and his crew did a great job. They were very professional and very thorough - even threw in painting of window sashes without adding to the estimate. They were very friendly and responsive to our input. They ensured that everything was perfect at the end of the job. We would definitely use them again.

Frank and his crew were great. They showed up when they said they would, they were responsive to phone calls and messages, and they were even flexible on arrival times on days when that made our lives easier. They are all personable and all skilled, working under Frank's perfectionist eye to deliver excellent service and high quality work at reasonable prices. We are very happy with the way our house turned out, and we appreciated their dedication to finishing the job in timely fashion, in spite of well above average rainfall that meant they couldn't work every day. I would not hesitate to hire them again or to recommend them.

Frank was extremely professional and responsive. He and his team worked very diligently and the results were exactly what we wanted. They also worked very quickly (almost the entire interior first floor of our house was complete in just three days), and they did a very thorough job cleaning up afterwards. We contacted three contractors to get estimates. Frank was in the middle in terms of cost, but we picked him because he told us he was on the job at all times and we wanted that. Also, Frank only takes one check and that is when the job is done. Frank and his team, Vincent and Keith, were excellent at everything they did: the preparations, the painting and the cleaning, every day. They moved the furniture as needed and put it back. Frank is extremely meticulous and it shows in his work. They did a tremendous job and they are, by a long shot, the best painting crew we have met in all the six houses we lived in over the years. The extra coats they had to apply for the off-while BM paint was frustrating for Frank (not counting the lost time because of it) but he wanted the job to be perfect and that was what was needed. We all realized that BM Regal Select in their off-white selection of colors does not provide good coverage in two coats. Finally, Frank had to come back because some cleaning product he used on our slate-covered floor in the basement left a residue. Although he told us to withhold our payment check until he was to come back for the slates, we paid him totally anyway because we knew we could trust him implicitly to come back as he promised. High integrity, professionalism and very high standards of workmanship.

Frank and his apprentice, Keith, were very professional, came on time, and did quality work. Frank told me the job would take about two days and they completed the work in a day and a half. They cleaned up afterwards and took all debris with them. He charged about half of what the estimate was with another contractor. I would definitely hire them again.
