"Tony at Carpet Elite did an excellent job stretching the carpet in our Master Bedroom and repairing a small hole that was caused by our dog. Tony was highly communicative and showed up when promised and completed the work as quoted. If you have damage to your carpet caused by a furry family friend Carpet Elite is the place to call."

"It went great. Mike explained the steps of the process to us and also took a little extra care with sealing off the rest of the home and with fixing some spots where there was damage to the subfloor. He actually finished the floor while we were away on vacation, if that's any indication of our trust level. I doubt that we'll need new flooring work any time soon, but we would certainly call Mike again if we did."

"We hired the team to redo the common areas of a condo I own as an investment property in Boston.
Great job.  I have used Allessandro and his team in the past, so I knew I could depend on them.
there were a few skuffs and such on the walls after the carpet was installed, but the team was very responsive and cleaned that up right away the same day I pointed it out.
always responsive and very easy to get a hold of.  also, high quality work.

"Jane and Brandon are outstanding people to work with and truly live up to their company's name.
We made an appointment with Jane to meet us in our (one bathroom) condo which my sister had lived in for more than 30 years. Jane listened to what we wanted, which turned out to be a full remodel!  She took some measurements, and promised to get back to us in a few days with a plan and cost estimate. We were also concerned about losing the "bathroom functionality" as we had no back-up, but she assured us they could do something to keep us "going" while the renovation was going on.  Thanks to her advice, suggestions, and support, the bathroom was spot on in terms of the timing of the job, and, more importantly, cost. Her suggestions between the bathroom fixtures, cabinetry, paint, tile flooring, and accessories, were perfect for what we were looking for.  She also served as point person with neighbors and such as the work at times impacted other owners.
Her partner, Brandon, and his team were meticulous in every aspect of the rework, both during and after the renovation.  They were perfectionists ... and this was especially evident in our small bathroom where every detail is so obvious.  Not to mention that he was so polite, respectful, and caring as he came in and out of the condo regularly.
Our new bathroom is stunning!  We are very happy with it.  "

Carpet Stretching questions, answered by experts

Use baking soda and vinegar or shaving cream to fix your carpet stains. But if you prefer a quicker solution, rent a carpet shampooer and use an enzyme-based cleaner to treat and resolve your discolored carpet issue.

Regular vacuuming is essential in homes with animals and children to remove pet hair, dirt, and debris from the carpet's surface. Additionally, prompt cleaning of spills and accidents can prevent stains from setting in. Consider using carpet protectors or area rugs in high-traffic areas to minimize wear and tear on your new carpeting.

Yes, carpets should be replaced after a house fire or significant smoke damage, even if they appear undamaged. Smoke, soot, particulates, and chemicals can penetrate deep into the carpet fibers and padding, making complete removal a complicated and time-consuming process. If water was used to extinguish the fire, it can also soak through the carpet and padding, creating a risk of mold and mildew growth. Due to these challenges and potential health risks, replacing the carpet is the safest and most effective solution.

Vomit contains organic fluids along with whatever else comes out with it. When left without cleaning, vomit, and its odor can reach deep into carpet fibers and become very difficult to remove without a deep cleaning. In some cases, the combination can cause permanent carpet staining.

Hiring a pro to stretch a carpet costs anywhere from $100 to $300, though this price increases if you also task the contractor to remove and replace the furniture from the room. Doing it on your own maxes out at $100, though renting the power stretcher and knee kicker extend the cost in some instances.
