Harco ExteriorsWe had an excellent experience with Harco Exteriors from start to finish. John completed a thorough walk-through to get a sense of our needs and sent us a detailed proposal. He's very knowledgeable and had several great suggestions about how to address some existing gutter placement/drainage issues. John was reliably available to answer our (many) questions and guide us through several key decision points. He was also able to recommend and coordinate with some other tradespeople that we ultimately needed to involve in our project. The crew on-site was very neat, courteous, and efficient. And as a total bonus everyone was super kind to our young child who was sometimes curious, sometimes scared of all the commotion happening outside. Most important of all, the team did a GREAT job. Color Matters Painting, Inc.This was an excellent experience. They started work within a week of booking them. They power-washed, scraped, sanded, primed and painted the house and trim. They also painted the downspouts, and we added the task of painting the foundation as well. They also replaced a few rotted boards. The whole team was very professional, but we would like to especially thank Sandro, Vander and Willian for working with us, helping us choose a trim color and keeping us informed every step of the way. Real Painting & Home ImprovementWe had last painted our house over 10 years ago and it was in dire need of carpentry work and exterior painting. I found it very easy to work with Real Painting from the start - they had solutions to all of our needs and the quote was detailed and easy to understand. The carpentry team was very skilled and their work exceeded my expectations for quality. The painting crew did an amazing job preparing the house for painting. They completely stripped the paint in most key areas and sanded the clapboards to perfection. Their attention to detail was immaculate - from caulking all to way to the finishing touches with our two-tone paint scheme. They also kept the site very clean. Everyone on the team was friendly, easy to talk to, and always showed that they cared for me as the customer. Norman BuildersIt was a pleasure working with Ryan Norman on the extensive interior renovation of our 1895 Andover home, and we are incredibly pleased with the results. Every phase of this project was well organized and managed, starting with the contracting negotiation phase. Ryan patiently worked with us to revise the contract multiple times to include as many details up front as possible, so as to minimize unexpected surprises from both the construction and cost perspective. We found his trade crews took pride in the high quality of their work, a reflection of their attention to detail. We also found Ryan’s costs to be market competitive, and the few unexpected expenses were discussed in advance and transparently explained. We realized various value-add modifications during the process and Ryan gamely and easily made the improvements. As homeowners, we were very picky about the final, high-end finish for this kitchen and bath remodeling; and, so, we approached Ryan already having selected a granite fabricator and cabinetry supplier. While I have no doubt that Ryan can make excellent referrals to integrate these services on any project, he worked professionally and seamlessly with these other companies. Ryan also kept up good communication to ensure that we made finish selections on time to avoid undue delays. Ryan brought all of the pieces together to deliver a beautiful product in a timely fashion. Work included: chimney removal; kitchen and bath demolition to the studs; hardwood floor removal, subfloor modifications and hardwood floor installation; significant carpentry, plumbing, electrical, plastering, tiling and painting; re-framing and installation of windows and doors; and installation of high end built-in appliances and custom cabinetry with crown and other trim details. All inspections easily passed, and we have great confidence in the construction and will enjoy our beautiful new kitchen and bath for years to come! Kennedy PaintingI recently purchased an home with asbestos siding that was not looking good. I called Kennedy Painting to ask about painting the asbestos siding. Brian got back to me right away and went to look at the place. He shared his opinion that it wouldn't be worth painting since the siding was in such poor condition, even though that would mean that we didn't need a painter. He put me in touch with a siding contractor that he recommended and got us a quote from the siding contractor. He was very prompt to reply and really went the extra mile to make sure we figured out a good solution for our new home even when he wasn't getting work out of it.- Margaret H.

Innovative Contracting Services IncIt went extremely well. The work didn't start on time but because our end got screwed up by lockdown stuff. They were understanding and worked with us. Once the work started it went fast. The whole team from the guys pulling boards off the house to the people in the office were friendly and communicative. We didn't have a lot of mid-project changes or challenges, but what we did was worked through and everything came out to our satisfaction. The house has received many compliments. I can’t say enough about them, pleasant polite professional! They left their boots by the front door as to not track in and out, everything was carefully protected. They did a beautiful job our space looks so fresh and updated. We had a hard time nailing down a date initially, they were pretty busy when we contacted them for a time frame, but we didn’t have a specific date in mind and it didn’t matter to us when the project got started so to us it didn’t matter. They don’t have a giant crew which means you can trust in their work and not worry about subcontractors doing the actual work. They sent us large format paint samples from our top three choices which really helped narrow down the color and not have to rely on those tiny paint swatches from the hardware store. I’ve never hired anyone to paint before, but this job was just too much for me to tackle, they came in and got it done in one day. From the initial consult and quote, to the painting guys, we couldn’t be happier. Our quoted contract was clearly defined and the price remained the same, they even separated a secondary quote for some bathroom and ceiling work to be done at a later date. They delivered on their exact word. They even left us the leftover paint for down the road touch ups. We will most certainly be calling them again. One thing worth mentioning was our contract did say they would move necessary furniture to accommodate the painting but we decided to just move everything ourselves the night before so they could just get right to it. We’re able to move stuff around so we just got the spaces extra ready so they wouldn’t have to deal with shuffling furniture around when they got there.

Ellen was wonderful. As a new and first time homeowner I was overwhelmed with what colors to choose for multiple rooms in our house. Ellen met with me to go over options and made suggestions that she thought would work in the rooms, she then provided me with real paint samples, where I could see what the paint actually looked like instead of just the little tiny swatch you get at the store. They were large adhesive pieces that I could hang up, move around and really decided what worked best. She also suggested the color of my daughter's nursery and it is by far my favorite room in the house. We also needed wallpaper removed in two different rooms, and this was done beautifully. During the whole process we were also moving our furniture in, which was not easy but Ellen and her team handled the craziness wonderfully. We had a living room, den, dining room, 4 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom painted, wallpaper removed in 2 rooms, 4 closets, doors, and trim all painted and the work was done in a week! I was incredibly happy with the work Ellen and her team did and will definitely hire her again when we need a few more rooms completed.
