His advise and communication allowed me to finish the required demolition right before he started the job. He showed up right on time with his co-worker and did an excellent job. When he ran into an unexpected issue he called me immediately and went above and beyond to solve the problem that could not have been foreseen. I was so happy with the work that I asked him to come back and drywall and plaster the stairway leading up to the bedrooms so that everything looked like new. We had already scheduled new carpet to be installed before he could start the second job. He was true to his word and showed up a couple weeks later and did another excellent job and we couldn't find one speck of dust on the new carpet when they were done. I would recommend to get an estimate from J&M before making a final decision on who you decide to hire."

Leading up to this we had the unfortunate experience with the previous person who had assured us the drywall would be installed and paint-ready in June, and that four-plus months later hanging the drywall was still not complete, much less mudding and sanding. Gary came in and pulled everything together, repairing the drywall that was not hung correctly, putting up the remaining new drywall, and finishing the surfaces throughout the house to provide us with truly paint-ready surfaces.
