"08-AUG-2025 Issues began immediately after hiring Pro Foundation & Masonry. During the estimate, I told Foreman Bobby there was no mortar in the cinder blocks. He gave a quote that I believed included proper mortar. On Aug-12-2025, I raised the issue again?he said he was ?focused on the damaged area.? When digging, a missing footing section was found, and Bobby quoted $22,500, which I thought was too high. Though he fixed some cracks, major ones in the cellar were ignored. They used the wrong mortar (not S mortar as discussed) and left sloppy drippings inside the wall. I sent photos on Aug-23; Bobby replied on Aug-25 saying the floor was dirt. Promised cleanup on Aug-30 never happened. I followed up repeatedly?no one came. They even left a dangerous cinder remnant that I tripped on. A section of wall was filled with concrete instead of block?looks unprofessional. They say one thing, do another. I?m very unhappy with their work and service. They're gonna fix the two crack on my fieldstone foundation. The manager Rey came and he felt really bad that the foreman left in this way they left it. He was really pretty readsonable."

"Perfect! The removal of the pre-existing concrete patio took and entire day of hard work with some heavy equipment and lots of muscle. Once the old concrete was removed and disposed of, the site was excavated to prepare the underlying base of crushed stone and sand for the pavers. The paver installation went well, but required last minute cutting into small pieces to fit some difficult spots (around the cellar hatchway). Everything looks beautiful compared to the older poured concrete. We're totally satisfied with the project and the team who did the work!"

So I found Ben and his team who came and did it for me. He offered a pretty good price and the work is excellent, he was also respectful and walked me through the process of the repair. "The project went great, from the first phone call to the end of the job. We were called a day before to confirm the arrival time, and the work crew arrived on schedule. It turned out they had some additional material from a previous job that day, so they actually repaired a bit more of the wall than had been agreed on, which we really appreciated. "Super friendly and helpful customer service (at framingham office in MA) when things didnâ t come out perfect to start. End result was excellent. A bit more details: We had some initial miscommunicatons about how to repoint our exposed chimney in our house. They had to come back and do more extensive work (having a mason remove older mortar and redo part of the chimney). That extra work would have been a lot more expensive than what we had initially talked about, but also resulting in a nicer look. IIn that situation, the guys at Paramount took their responsibility for the initial miscommunication and redid the job at a fraction of what the masonry would have cost. Professional and very keen on having satisfied customers! In the end, we were really happy with both their work and their attitude to make things right!"
