"I hired Nilton and his company Pro Touch Construction to help completely demolish and renovate my 2BD 2BA 900 sq ft condo when I originally purchased it. The project included: - Complete demo of each room - Kitchen expansion and remodeling - Appliance installation (dishwasher, sink, stove, etc) - Complete remodeling of both bathrooms - Converting a stand up shower in one of the bathrooms to a walk-in shower - Brand new electrical and plumbing work (including installing in-wall speakers throughout the condo) - Install new vinyl flooring - Repainting the entire unit - Etc One of the things that stood out the most for me with Nilton is that he took the time to meet with me (several times) at the condo when I first purchased it. I had spent time designing each room with an interior designer using Pinterest photo albums and other inspiration I had found. But I also had a very fixed budget which not only did he make work but he consulted me on things I should consider to save costs (including going with vinyl flooring vs hardware floors). As shown in the photos, Nilton and his crew completed the project to absolute perfect. I was absolutely blown away with how beautiful my condo looked after he finished the job. This job was composed of 3 main parts: a gut remodel of our main bathroom, renovation of a large attic space (about 700 sq ft), and whole-home conversion from steam radiators (gas) to heat pumps including removal of all radiators and a chimney. The bathroom now is attractive and more functional, the attic adds a large amount of useful space as an office/kid room/guest area, and central air makes a more comfortable climate. I’m a big fan of the design/build concept, because you really don’t want to separate those two elements into different contractors, and if you find a talented company, they can handle all aspects of the job fluidly. Scott Curtice has a real knack for design, he is attentive and cares about details, and he will perform carpentry and touch-up work as needed.
