Everything went very well. Josh, Dave and Tommy were very professional, efficient, and always willing to answer any questions I had. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We started having water leaks on a basement wall. Started slow but increased. We made the mistake of calling the big name TC H......, waited weeks to schedule first appointment. Finally showed up and proposed major excavation of basement wall, then applying new membrane. Unfortunately in our house, every external connection arrives via that wall. Talking electric, cable, septic, well water, and sprinkler. They wanted to use excavator to dig but wouldn't take responsibility for any potential damage. Price tag was very high. I was very nervous about this of course. I saw one source of water was around well pipe and other was wall itself. Contacted Marquis Well in Sanford who showed up immediately. Proposed hand digging at a lower price. They scheduled quickly, hand dug all the dirt, found Crack in water pipe casing and sealed up. But wall still had issue. Searched further and found Groundworks, lots of positive reviews. Called and they arrived quickly to assess. Beth is a true professional who knows her business extremely well. We signed proposal to inject sealant into cracks from inside of wall. Josh arrived to perform the work. He was effecient, very experienced who knew exactly what to do. During his inspection, he recommended bypassing one of the smaller Crack where water was never seen, thereby reducing our costs....unheard of! He completed the work quickly, zero mess or damage to our house. I cannot recommend both of these companies any higher. Both were outstanding in every aspect. Don't fall for the big ads from the others!

Had a major water problem every time it rained. Rescon came in and installed there drainage system with a sump pump. Months later and all this rain and snow melting. No water. They did a great job and everything is working well.

Very pleased overall with RESCON We solicited bids from RESCON and another company specializing in basement water problems. We went with RESCON because they listened carefully, explained things clearly, and tailored the system to our needs and budget. In contrast, the other company offered a much more extensive and costly system that they were unwilling to tailor to our needs. RESCON was great to work with. The installers were timely, courteous, neat, willing to explain things, and always looking for ways to make the system minimally intrusive and maximally effective for our basement. We definitely got the impression that they know what they are doing. We have not yet experienced a wet season with this system in place so we can’t report on performance at this time.

Once scheduled they were quick and efficient getting the work done. We did have to book them a ways out to get on their schedule. They were not the cheapest nor the most expensive. We have since had several storms where our basement would have flooded in the past and we are very pleased that it is bone dry! Worth the $$ to have the peace of mind that we not come home to a flood.

I was looking to install a battery backup sump pump and talked to a couple providers including Rescon. Rescon was the only company that I could always get hold with a person. They sent a project manager quickly, assessed my basement, and provided a quote for what's necessary on the same day she visited. Another company actually quoted for bigger scope of works of course higher cost for things that were not must-have. On the day of installation, the plumber was on time and finished the job in about 2 hours. During the install, he found my yard has too many tree roots around the house which presented the risk to dig a trench for a new discharge line for the backup sump pump. As such he use the existing discharge line and tested it to make sure it worked. He did not charge me the work originally scoped for the second discharge line. Very professional. I also got a quote for bulkhead from the plumber very quickly. I will definitely use Rescon again.

Work came out great for most part, but very poor communication from everyone from rescon who had a part in working on my basement from people on the job to in the office. Also, permits were lost, job was somewhat late on timeline, and what day people were coming was constantly changing. Needed additional ceiling tiles that I was buying and was told wrong type when contacted rescon to find out what my project had used. Found out they were wrong type after purchasing from lowes which was just inconvenient. When I contacted them to let know, they apologized and said they would bring some extra tiles on them(never happened) Also, they came back to fix some other minor things once job was done and then job was poorly done when finally came back. For the amount of money spent on job I thought they'd be a little more professional such as not leaving part of wall unsanded and unpainted to begin and then thinking I could just do it. When they finally came back to finish sanding, painting and giving some of the correct ceiling tile (never got it) the job looked quickly and somewhat poorly done without tarp laid down and a mess on carpeted stairs when they could have used my shop vac which was down there to clean up their mess. Not sure if I'd recommend even though basement does look pretty good because of their poor communication, follow through, and neglect or annoyance of finishing a job the right way. I feel the longer time I spent dealing with them the worse my experience became.

Very punctual. professional and hard working crew. Easy to talk to and came to the door every morning to explain the day's work. Cleaned up well each day and took pride in their work.

Project went very well. We were patient as the original quote was accepted around Halloween '16, work began around February 1 2016. It took a long time to get completed but was worth the wait. Tim, Kurt and Steve were my primary points of contact and were very responsive whenever any issues or questions came up. Steve in particular was great on helping with the details on trim and other features that were important.

I have previously reviewed Rescon very highly - Kathy is the main contact and is great, as was as all the work they had done previous to the concrete floor they poured. I figured they had done a great job with the vapor barrier, the french drain installation, and incapsulating a small crawl space that I would pay a bit more to have them pour a 400 sq ft 4" concrete slab as well. It needed to be done. They showed up on time as they always did, but the concrete pour itself looked shoddy from the start. They seemed to be fumbling around when they arrived, while I was there before work it looked like they hadn't secured the plastic barrier down very well before pouring and were just kind of sloppy overall. I had to go to work though and figured they would get it right in the end. When I got home It didn't take long to realize the entire floor was out of level. There were also two large dips in the floor that wouldn't have been able to be tiled. In all other spots I laid down a 5ft level and it was all out of whack. After calling Kathy (she was not in charge of this crew) she had somebody come over and pour leveling concrete in the two large dips which helped some. However I needed to buy another $300 of leveling concrete (stuff is $35 a bag) and fix the job myself before the finish floor went down. It just left a bad taste in my mouth after they had done such a good job in all the previous jobs. I would not recommend hiring them to do concrete.

It went great. Was on time, professional and gave estimate in timely manner.

We hired Rescon with the hopes of having a smooth construction project to finish our basement to make another bathroom and an office. After discussing our basement finishing project with several contractors we were most impressed with Rescon and hired them. The first part of our project was to waterproof the basement with a French drain system. This part went off without a hitch – see our other review – true A+ service. We therefore expected the finishing of the basement to go off with the same level of service. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. First off, our project was started an entire month later than it should have been due to Rescon not submitting the permit application in a timely fashion. Since the basement finishing work did get started at the very end of September we have been met with many delays and problems. One example is that they thought a slab in our basement we needed to remove was asbestos and we were held up on work for two weeks for the asbestos removal, but when they came to remove it they said it wasn’t asbestos. Rescon fired the person who made this mistake, but it is still their responsibility that this delay happened at all. There have many days where they keep telling us they are coming to work, but they never show up. There is also no completion date on our project. We were told at the initiation of the project that this was difficult to say due to inspection delays, but we have asked for this repeatedly since the inspections have finished and still don’t have a completion date. The quality of the work getting done is A+ and the people who come to our house to work our great. The problems are all on the managements side and we are very frustrated with the delays and overall pace of the project. The foreman of the project rarely showed up and the electrician even arrived having no idea there was a bathroom in the plan! Fortunately, my husband is working from home (hence the need for a basement office) and was able to print out the information needed. My husband has been doing a LOT of the foreman’s job throughout this project. Since the initial posting of our negative review work has really picked up on our house, but it shouldn’t have required this to have them do the job we hired them to do. We have no doubt that when our basement is done we will be happy with the final product, but it has been a stressful time for us that was not expected given the care we took to hire a company that was supposed to be better at project management and was totally unexpected after how well our basement waterproofing went. If anyone hires Rescon we would strongly suggest not signing a contract without a completion date on the project. We want to reiterate that the quality of the work is fantastic, it is the communication, management, and project delays that we find unacceptable. Please note were open to changing the grade, if they can complete service before Christmas (which did not happen) and plan to write an even more detailed review upon completion of the project.

Reson came soon as I called. I had water coming in through the basement floor. I burned out several pumps . In comes Rescon he does a inspection and found the leak. The sump pumps I was using were getting clogged.They dug a 8 feet deep hole, they had to chisel up floor and they went down 8 feet and put in a sump pump,they did the underground piping. The price was amazing. And the pump came with an alarm to alert me. He came in at noon and was done around 2:30. I even left them in my home to go check on a friend and came back everything was fine when I came home. Everything was clean when they left and I also have a full year warranty on system and pump. They also added a freeze protection pipe 15 feet down.

This was our second major project with Rescon. The first (a partial basement finish) went so well, we hired them again. From start to finish, Chris Brown, Bob Brewster, Tim and all of his crew, were professional and a pleasure to work with. Our new bathroom and mudroom look beautiful and we are confident that the work was done right.

Ray was great.  He came and did a bunch of measurements, talked us through everything, gave us a plan, showed us materials, and generally took a long time meeting with us and discussing the project.  We decided not to do the refinish quite yet but we plan to hire Rescon in another year when we go ahead with the refinishing.
Their quote was also a lot lower than the other providers, and I was happy with the fact that they've thought through wet basement issues (so the materials are high quality but won't get damaged in case of a deluge, unlike regular hardwood or drywall).  
We feel very positively about them and are excited to work with them next year.

Rescon Basement Solutions was very professional right from the start.  They were able to get to our house quickly and provide a quote within just hours of their initial visit.  Scheduled the work within a couple weeks and did a great job with the work to be done.  They encapsulated a crawl space in our basement that was not easy to get to.  They removed lots of debris from the space before getting started and they covered the entire space in thick plastic as well as adding insulation to the floor joists which are under part of our kitchen.  Great crew, easy to work with.

Everyone at Rescon was responsive, punctual, and professional. The French drain and pump system they installed seems solid through a few rainstorms that inevitably require a good pump to stay ahead of the water table.  Before the installation, I would have some puddling to clean up 2-3 times a year.  Nine months later - basement is completely dry. Rescon worked in teams at each stage of our partial basement remodel and each team was competent and professional.  The first visit was to offer a free estimate on work we wanted to do.  We put together a wish list and in a very timely manner, the Rescon rep put together a detailed estimate but it didn't meet with our budget so we pared down our wish list and the Rescon rep came up with another timely estimate that fit.  He was super easy to work with.  From that visit to demo to rebuild and installation of a dehumidifier system and sump pump system, the Rescon teams worked well with us and truly wanted to make sure that we were satisfied with everything.  They kept to the schedule and stayed on budget, never deviating from the estimate.  I recommend this company without reservation.  They are really good at what they do.

The service was outstanding. I worked with Beth. Very punctual and all business with a smile.  Crew took 3 days to complete the job. Very clean and precise.  Gives a 5% discount if you are a member of Angies List. Overall it was a very good experience.

The steel bulkhead door was damaged by falling ice from roof.   In the spring a representative came out to assess the damage.  A quote was provided.  Rescon couldn't fit us in until the end of summer, but the work was excellent.  The installers were very professional.  The completed work met the quote, no additional funds were required at the end of the job.  I would use Rescon for future projects.

The job was explained to my in full and although I did not end up doing the project when I am ready to do so I will use them.  With the age of my home and the number of things that need to be done the basement project had to be moved lower on my list.
