Best fireplace cleaning pros near Acton, MA

"McBriens Fire & Flue helped us out big time!!! We paid a contractor to put in a fireplace liner, and the house filled up with smoke when lighting a fire in the fireplace when it was completed. Called the contractor back and he will not return our call. We called McBriens Fire & Flue that we found on the BBB. Omar and Crew did an amazing job!!! They told us the liner that was put in was too small. Omar assured us that when they are done putting in a bigger liner we will not have a problem. When McBriens Fire & Flue was done putting in the fireplace liner we were not sure it was going to work. Omar stayed and lit a fire in the Fireplace and tested and proved it was good!!!! We feel so Happy and Safe now! I wish we had looked at the BBB first when we found McBriens Fire and Flue Thank you Omar. We will recommend you!"

"I Highly recommend Brendan of Avery Masonry. I had a contractor coordination dilemma, between tiling, surround rebuilding, plastering around the surround to create a new fireplace look. I also had issues with my oil flu liner. He saved me from contractors overselling work that didn’t need to be done and those contractors that where not able to handle all parts of the redesign. He became the “general contractor” for my project and did an excellent job! Thank you Brendan."

"Steve, is very professional and did a great job fixing the gas fireplace."

"Duran removed my old gas fireplace, ran a new 6-inch insulated liner down the chimney, (which was not easy, the flue needed to be opened up a bit in certain spots). He rebuilt and repointed my upper chimney, waterproofed it, and installed an amazing new wood burning fireplace, that we are loving! He came out to the house, estimated the job for free. His price was thousands less than the competitors (others charged $250 just to come out and estimate) Duran was professional, honest, clean, hardworking and affordable. If you're getting chimney work done, you are crazy if you don't call this guy. I highly recommend. R"

"Steve & Marcos were very professional, prompt and did a great job cleaning our chimney and fireplace."

"Kevin and Anthony cleaned the fireplace chimney and repair the fireplace. They both were experts in their knowledge of chimneys and fireplaces. They were both very friendly and polite. I would recommend the Shamrock Chimney Company and I would definitely hire them again."

"We heard something moving behind our electric fireplace insert and panicked! We knew whatever was behind there had to come out! Called exterminators and chimney cleaners. No exterminators would come for another 1-3 days! Thankfully Clear Choice came out within hours. Climbed on roof, pulled out insert and found a little bird stuck behind there! He was able to rescue the bird and replace our chimney cap so this would never happen again! Very professional and friendly. Assured us that he would take care of the problem and he did! Highly recommend!"

"We had our chimney capped. The guys from 5-Star showed up on time, their quote was competitive (and very fair), and they were ready to do the work the same day, which they did. They did a couple of extras for us and cleaned everything up before they left. Damon sat down with us to show us pictures of what we needed done and then pictures of what it looks like now. Great Customer Service! One day - Done! And the best part: lifetime warranty on the cap! Highly recommend 5 Star Chimney Service!!"
