"i decided to go with phil at optimize egs because they offered the best price and they were the only ones to offer to bury my gas line. the other companies were ok with the gas line being attached to the exterior wall. very unprofessional looking. lastly, their workers took pride in their work. to the point that before they left, one of the workers to the time to wipe down my generator and made sure it was clean looking. awesome company and would definitely do business with again"

"Very professional. Took as much time as needed to answer questions. Very good attention to detail. Even though a few more rods were needed than originally quoted, they stuck to their original quote price. No surprises. I would highly recommend this company."

"Optimize deserves an A+ rating. We selected Optimize after getting bids from three other companies. In contrast to the other companies, the Optimize representative explained in detail all of the many steps that would be needed for the project, and the bid was inclusive. Once the project began, Optimize took care of everything, and any concerns and questions we had were addressed promptly and professionally. The price was very competitive, and the service was exceptional."

"Good response time. Cost me $85.00 for the service call. The technician said that he would get me a price on a new circuit board and never did."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

While it’s never too early to start planning for a major home improvement project like a home addition, give yourself at least a month or two to plan and design your addition, find a contractor, and get the permits in order. For larger projects like a second-story addition that require designing with an architect, plan on three to four months of preparation.

Yes, you can finance cottage construction through several options. Construction loans provide funds in stages as work progresses, while home equity loans or lines of credit are available if you have existing property. Some lenders offer a combined construction and permanent mortgage. Always review loan terms and payment milestones before committing.

There are several different steps in the pole barn building process. First, you’ll need construction plans, which you’ll use to obtain permits. Then, you can clear the land so it’s suitable for building and installing the foundation. Your contractor will frame the barn using large poles, then rough in the plumbing and electricity (if your barn has those elements) before finishing the interior, adding siding, and installing the roof.

After that, they’ll finish up the electrical work and plumbing and add your windows and doors. You may have a few other finishing jobs to do like painting or waterproofing.

Designs typically take 2-6 months, depending on factoring, project size, and customization needs. Larger or more complex designs may require additional time for approval and revisions.

Regular meetings, reviewing drafts, and providing input on materials help align the project with your vision.
