We are a locally owned and operated Ac and Heating business who believe that all customers should be treated exactly how we want to be treated. We want you to be completely satisfied or we will not be satisfied!

"I made an appointment through my home warranty company. The tech was able to come out the same day, which is the reason for the D instead of the F. Not only was he totally unprofessional, first trying to enter my house without a mask, when I had already made sure with the company that their employees wear all appropriate protective gear, but then he took it off multiple times. He almost passed out twice, dropped 3 heavy items on my floor from the attic, created a crack in the ceiling when walking in the attic (in a spot that he definitely didn't need to step), left a mess and when the smoke alarms starting going off in the house, decided to leave instead of try to help (which I do understand wasn't his responsibility to do), left without explaining the work or collecting payment. Since he left without collecting payment, I was called the next day to pay. Makes sense. When I was told my total, I informed the employee that my understanding was that my trade call fee should be $100, not the $277 she was telling me I owe. I asked her to allow me to speak with my home warranty company. In the 3 LONG call made to my home warranty company over 2 weeks, I was, 3 times, informed that Calloway had still not provided the work completed to them, therefore they could not make a decision on coverage. I pay a lot of money for a home warranty, so I just wanted the courtesy to be explained what wasn't covered and WHY by the home warranty, not Calloway. Calloway wanted to get paid, I understand, but on one of the multiple, now bordering on harassing, calls with Calloway, the employee tried to scare me by telling me that if I don't pay them, the home warranty would cancel me. Not at all Calloway's place to tell me that. Sure, if they were being friendly and trying to help me out, I guess, but at this point in our relationship, they had not been that kind of helpful. I would not work with them again. And I suggest they get some cooling vests for their young, buff employees so they don't pass out in someone's house."

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

With the proper maintenance and repairs, your HVAC can last 15 to 25 years. However, it depends on the type of equipment you have and the average lifespan of each, including:

Yes. Getting a whole-house dehumidifier can help you save money on energy bills. How? Your home automatically feels cooler when there’s less humidity in the air (“It’s the humidity that gets ya!” is such a true statement). This means that you won’t need to run your AC as much as you would if you had all that extra humidity in your home.

No, it's not safe to keep using your unit when it's frozen. Not only can running a frozen unit lead to damage, but it can also potentially overheat, making it a fire hazard. Therefore, it's always best to turn off the AC unit as soon as you notice any ice.

It depends on the number of zones and rooms and how sophisticated the system is. On the low end, a ductless AC system costs $2,000 for one or two zones in one room. Covering two zones for more rooms can cost $6,000 to 8,000. If you want a larger ductless AC system to cover your entire home, multi-zone systems cost upwards of $13,000.

Traditional central air conditioning systems require ductwork to circulate air throughout the home. Alternatively, you can add air conditioning with a mini-split ductless air conditioning system, which can be just as energy efficient as a central air conditioner. This type of system consists of two units–an outside unit that holds the compressor and condenser and an indoor unit that holds an air-handler. With multi-zone ductless systems, there are multiple indoor air handlers tied to a single outdoor compressor/condenser, allowing the system to cool multiple rooms.
