  • Mike's Handyman Services LLC
Mike responded quickly to my inquiry. We set up a time to review the work that needed to be done; he arrived promptly and went over the details thoroughly. On the morning that work was to begin, Mike was punctual and professional. I truly believe that he went above and beyond in providing helpful suggestions and cost-saving ideas. Mike did everything in a timely manner with great attention to detail. From my experience with him, I would give Mike the highest rating available and my recommendation.

He matched the old ceiling even to the tone of the ceiling paint. You couldn't even tell. He is excellent.

  • Tim Hearne Painting LLC
Timothy and his workers were very professional. They showed up when they were supposed to. They even stayed late on a couple occasions to get the job done within the time frame promised. Very trustworthy and do great work. I've used him on my personal home several times, and I've referred him to several different clients who have all called to tell me how happy they were with him and the work.

  • Ashleys Building & Construction
From the initial phone call with Ashley's, to the completion of the project, everything was done in a very professional manner. The owners, Lisa and Adam Willard, were an absolute joy to work with. Lisa brought my ideas for my kitchen to life with her design. Adam was a "right the first time" contractor. Project manager, Aaron Willard, was amazing during demo week. That first week of demo can be stressful, but the whole crew kept the mood light and made sure the rest of my house was not impacted by the kitchen demo. The Willard's went out of their way to involve our six-year-old son in the process. He loved each of them by the time the project was over. All subcontractors used on the renovation were professional and punctual. We were always kept abreast of what the next step would be and when it would be completed. The very few issues that came up, which is to be expected in older homes, were quickly resolved to our complete satisfaction. If a change needed to be made, we were always presented with more than one option. In the end, we were blown away by our new kitchen and feel has though we made some friends in the process.

  • Handyman For Hire Inc
We have a 50's ranch style house which had one bathroom and had the washing machine installed in the kitchen. We needed another bath and wanted the washing machine moved from the kitchen. The first phase was to demolish the old storage room and then remove concrete so that plumbing could be roughed in. The drain line had to be extended approximately 50' across the back yard and tied into the existing sewer line. After that the floor had to be raised to be flush with the kitchen and a wall was opened up to make the new space flow into the existing house. The electrical rough in, the remainder of the plumbing and framing came next. After that, drywall was installed and then finished and textured. The flooring went in next, after that paint and baseboards. Finally the plumbing fixtures were installed and the electrical finished. Jeff has a very competent crew but uses sub contractors for plumbing, electrical, concrete and painting. Before the bid was even given, I was introduced to all of the sub contractors and it was obvious that they had worked together on many jobs. Everyone exhibited the highest level of professionalism and answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. In a process that can be daunting, it made us very comfortable. The entire process took a little over six weeks. There was progress every day and the time line was clear and adhered to. Every day, the job site was cleaned up and secured. So the job was finished on time and right on budget. We will begin a kitchen remodel next month and will positively use Handyman For Hire.

  • Harkey Homes / Rutherford Painting
The quality of the work was very good. I was very impressed with the drywall repair, as I was concerned it could not be repaired without being noticeable. The painting was done well and quickly, and the installation of the molding looks good. The contractor also advised ways to save money on the repair portion.

  • Lagniappe Designs
I needed a remodel of my bathroom because my shower pan (?) was not put in correctly when the house was built, and proceeded to leak water over the years. I got the business card from a friend of mine who informed me that lagniappe designs has done several commercial buildings, as well as many of the houses in a prominent neighborhood (Stonebridge). I was a bit skeptical, as I thought the price would be astronomical. I also thought it would be weeks before they would come out, let alone get started. The owner of the company came out the day I called, and gave me an estimate. Not only did he do the paint and drywall, he had someone who could lay the tile, do the cabinetry work, and the trim work! And, they came in under time and on budget. I will be using them again in a heartbeat.

Their price was reasonable. They were very professional and did quality work. There were three people here doing the work. We were happy with them.
