He was great and really professional. I thought he did a really great job. He takes you to his house first, so that you can see the work that he does, we thought that was really neat.

I had some water damage to my ceiling from a leaky AC unit. I was having a very hard time getting anyone to come look at it. Shad came within 1-2 days of my phone call and started on the job right away. Now you can't even tell there was ever any water damage. Looks as good as new!

The service was super. I found them originally through Angie's List.

I was given a quote for the nursery and my dining room. After I scheduled an appointment for him to paint the nursery only, he told me that he was going to charge me the amount of the original quote. I reminded him that the quote was for two rooms. He then adjusted his price accordingly. He told me that he was completely capable of painting a stripe around my son's nursery and that he would do so "free-hand." I expressed concern about said ability, but was assured that it would look great.It took him approximately three days of labor to complete the job, though overall the project took a week and a half. I had purchased all the paint ahead of time at Lowe's. Once he started painting, he needed me to run to the store again and purchase white paint so he could fix the trim. He got paint on it as a result of not taping off the room.*Keep in mind that I was 9 months pregnant during this project.Day 1: He was on time and fairly polite and friendly, but asked that I run to the store to get white paint for trim that needed to be fixed. It was rainy outside and the blue paint started running down the wall. He left for the day and said he would be back at 8 am the next day to apply the second coat of paint.Day 2: He was more than an hour late when he finally called to let me know that he was running late. When he showed up another 30 minutes later, he was short with me and irritable. I expressed concern over the crooked nature of the line that he was painting in the room and was again assured that it would look great when he finished. When he left that day he told me he wanted to let the paint dry over the weekend. It actually took a lot of wrangling to get him to come out to complete the work and he didn't come back out until several days after the weekend had passed.Day 3: He showed up about 30 minutes late. He was short with me again and irritable. He touched up some work and fixed spots on the trim that had paint on them. He also had to clean up a small paint spill on my carpet - not sure why he didn't have a drop cloth down in that spot. He called me in to see the final product and to get paid. I told him that the I was not happy with the line he had painted. It is not straight and it looks awful. He told me it was the best he could do and he would not try to fix it. He was very rude. I went ahead and paid him just get him to leave, as I was 9 months pregnant and had my 3 year old child home with me as well. My husband was quite unhappy that I had paid him and that this man had preyed on a pregnant woman.

I was very pleased with the whole process. A great crew! Plan to have them back for one more job that needs to be done.

The lady of the house thought she could repaint the master bath after watching it done on TV. After two days of mess, I finally said STOP. I got on Angie's List and found Lagniappe Designs. I called Shad he came right out gave me an estimate. I hired him to do the work. We set a date and time and they fixed the mess and were out in 1/2 a day and the bath is beautiful.

They are hardworking and honest. I would highly recommend them because I am very happy with their work.

I needed a remodel of my bathroom because my shower pan (?) was not put in correctly when the house was built, and proceeded to leak water over the years. I got the business card from a friend of mine who informed me that lagniappe designs has done several commercial buildings, as well as many of the houses in a prominent neighborhood (Stonebridge). I was a bit skeptical, as I thought the price would be astronomical. I also thought it would be weeks before they would come out, let alone get started. The owner of the company came out the day I called, and gave me an estimate. Not only did he do the paint and drywall, he had someone who could lay the tile, do the cabinetry work, and the trim work! And, they came in under time and on budget. I will be using them again in a heartbeat.
