"Needed to get some damaged vinyl siding replaced after a bad hail storm. Sam came out literally 25 minutes after my initial post on Angie's. After hearing sam say that they are here to help me and not to earn some ridiculous huge margin like the other guys, that really swayed my choice on who to go with. The price and quality of work definitely reflected that. All the pieces were replaced and they even took care of some extra pieces that had holes in it from the previous home owner. "Carlos Garcia's Hometown Floor Covering. LLC laid 755 sq ft of 3/4" solid wood floor in my house in Oct 2022. It has buckled at the walls, and throughout the house the planks are uneven and raised. I have attempted to connect Carlos by phone, email and on Facebook, but he has blocked me. I had 2 floor installers over to make repairs, and both told me the whole floor needs to be replaced. The flooring supplier who assigned Carlos Garcia to me no longer use him. As my discussion with them, they told Carlos he was to stay at the job site, and he didn't. It was obvious his men were untrained, and they couldn't speak English. I had to buy 3 more boxes of flooring because of improper cutting. When I wrote his check he wanted it in his personal name. Carlos Garcia has bad business practices. On his business web page, he "guarantees his work" and he implies he's not a 'shady contractor'! I warned Carlos Garcia, Hometown Floor Covering, LLC months I would send out bad reviews. "
