Basement Remodeling
We used DDR for renovating our basement. Jon, our project manager, was very knowledgeable and courteous when it came to communicating and managing the project. We are happy with the work they have done and any issues we've had have been minor and they were quick to address and fix. Overall, my husband and I are very pleased with the job that Distinctive Design Remodelers did in finishing our basement. Jesse, Jon, Jordan, and Mike were nice to work with and responsive to our questions. All of the men that came to do the framing, electric, drywalling, trim work, painting of the ceiling, and clean up were friendly and did good work. However, they seemed rushed at times. We would have appreciated a more detailed plan layout and more project management on site. We would use DDR again.

Sunrooms and Patio Enclosures
I must say, this was a dream come true for us. We had given up on doing our sunroom - which in reality we thought about just enclosing our sun deck. Well after speaking to other local company we were left with no hopes because of how expensive they said it would be. After watching a TV commercial and seeing the company, I decided to send a message requesting information. I got to speak with Jesse. His enthusiasm and ideas got us rolled back into wanting to move forward and give them the opportunity to do the project. We were scheduled for about 4 months down and it all started way before and we were super ecstatic and happy. Our project manager was Kyle and he communicated all as expected. Any question we had was answered. All moved forward as expected. Just our windows took a bit longer because of the manufacturer and we got on a small stall but once those windows were in, everything moved forward. One of the windows broke right after being delivered and it was taken care of on a timely manner. I can say that every single team that needed to come by, came and did their part and moved on. Kyle let us know who was coming and what they were working. He many times came by and checked; sometimes he communicated with me if there was anything for us to know but mostly was with the crew onsite. He did send daily emails to keep us informed. Every crew knew exactly what to do and they were all very polite and courteous. Big kudos to Mike and his crew, to the crew who did the sliding because it was a quite height and dark out and they were still working and all was well done, the electrician Shanon, the roofers who did all in a blink! - yes I wouldn't try to be so up high like them! Overall, if I was going to do another project I will call them in a heart beat! Sorry I do not have any pictures... still trying to put our new sunroom together!! looking forward to many days to enjoy some good conversations and sunsets. Thanks DDR for helping get our dream come true.

Eain with DDR has been exceptional through the entire process of building my addition. He kept me informed with timing of things that would occur for the project. He would text me frequently or come by in person when I was at home to provide details. He took time to make sure that I was happy with how the project was coming along and that everything that I wanted done with the project was completed to my satisfaction. Also, the project was completed very quickly with minor delays that can be expected with an addition. I would use them again and recommend Eain and DDR for any addition project.

Basement Remodeling
The Distinctive Design team has been outstanding from the start. The member who came to look at our basement and give us a proposal was by far the most credible person to come out. Once we accepted the proposal the team immediately began planning and were on sight within a week. Each of the different teams (framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, and trim) were respectful of our home (including loving on our dogs) and worked long, hard hours to make sure that the job was done right. Our main point of contact throughout was Jordan who kept us up on each phase of product delivery and made sure we had everything needed to keep the project moving. Distinctive Design wasn't the cheapest bid we received, but as the old adage goes, "You get what you pay for." We are very satisfied with the end product and look forward to showing off our new, finished basement. We would definitely recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Very happy with Distinctive Design’s construction of a screened patio enclosure on our existing concrete pad. The entire process went smoothly from Sales, Kevin, to design, Jesse with the CAD drawings, and everyone else at DDR’s main office. They made sure everything was planned well and adhered to building codes. They also were very good about assisting with getting approval from our homeowner’s association so we didn’t have submit any paperwork. Eain was our construction project manager. Eain did a great job communicating and making sure everything was done properly. Anytime I had a concern he responded quickly and addressed any questions regarding the project. Many thanks to Eain and DDR’s construction crews to stay on schedule, use good materials, did skilled work and was done without any major delays. We would be happy to use Distinctive Design Remodeling on future projects and will be recommending to friends and family.

Would have given a 5 star except there were delays at the end of the project. However, the Project Manager (Eain) was fantastic and not the reason for the delays. He made sure everything was quality and kept me informed immediately. I will use DDR again especially if Eain is my Project Manager.

From our first interaction with DDR at the Home & Garden Show this past April, we have enjoyed a very professional and pleasant experience with this company. Pat, our initial contact, worked with us to come up with a plan for our new sunroom addition, and Jesse was very patient as we designed and tweaked it. Both were forthcoming and worked diligently to give us a quality room addition while staying within our budget. The construction of our sunroom was managed by Kyle. We can’t say enough good things about our project manager! We appreciate his kindness and he’s just great at what he does! The communication between us could not have worked any better. We knew every week what to expect and were informed promptly if there were any changes. At one point we had a delay by the manufacturer in shipment of our windows. Kyle was right on top of that. He was honest about the delay and kept other aspects of the job moving as much as possible. In addition, he was very hands on during the entire process—many times we saw him interacting with the subcontractors to ensure there was no misunderstanding and that we received quality work. The subcontractors that DDR used did a great job. It was a pleasant surprise to get phone calls from the subs the day before to let us know they would be here. We received quality workmanship, all within a reasonable timeline. This is very rare and much appreciated! The entire process made us feel engaged and part of a team effort--not only did we want the project to be successful, but so did everyone else involved. That kind of work environment makes the project a pleasant experience. Congratulations to DDR and Kyle for exceeding our expectations. We enthusiastically recommend DDR to others! They have a great management team, prompt and skillful subcontractors, and a great business plan that would facilitate any remodeling or renovation. Thanks to DDR, and to Kyle, we have a beautiful sunroom that we will enjoy for many years!

The communication from the Project Manager, Eian, started before the project began, which strengthened my confidence my porch would be completed in a timely manner. At each phase of the project, Eian was there to assist the workers and was always forthcoming with information regarding the next phase via email or in person. Everyone was always friendly and helpful with my questions. The craftsmanship, talent, and teamwork of this group of individuals was wonderful and I'm very pleased with the final product as I can utilize this beautiful screen enclosed porch all year round.

I used DDR to have a patio added to the back of my house. The whole process was extremely streamlined and required very little interaction on my part. To start the project, Jesse came out to talk about my ideas and what DDR could feasibly do. He ended up pitching a few of his own ideas to me which I ended up going with and am super pleased that I did based on the finished product. When the project started, my project manager, Kyle, was extremely easy to work with and was always professional and courteous whenever I would call him with any questions or concerns. The teams that DDR uses (framers, roofers, concrete crew, etc.) all did extremely good work and got their work done at an impressive rate. A stand out from the DDR contractors is their electrician, Jason Sanders. Jason and his crew wired up two outlets, a fan, and a flood light for the patio after helping me figure out the best way to wire everything to do what I wanted. I was expecting them to have to cut a lot of drywall to be able to run the wires, but they were able to run the wires without damaging any drywall and were able to get everything wired exactly the way I wanted it. Overall I am extremely pleased with the build quality of my new patio and the experience that I have had with the DDR team.

This was the 2nd time we contracted with DDR. While I did not deal with them the first time, I had a great experience this time. Chris Thomas, the Project Manager, was very professional, responsive and informative. He provided all the details and gave me the news as he received it - good or bad. He visited the site (the house) as much as he could. He provided detailed emails and updates; statuses on crew, equipment and delivery and was very patient in answering every single question I had (which were many) - all the time! Apart from being professional, he also always took care of his crew, which, I thought, was very nice. He is a very hard worker and a great asset to DDR. We took a lot of estimates and met with a lot of contractors but we certainly can say, DDR kept up to their word and their work. I will certainly hire DDR for me next project.
