Integrated solar energy solutions: photovoltaic, solar-thermal, battery storage and heat pumps. We are not tied to any specific PV manufacturer and will source the best solution for your location and situation. Solar energy is no longer idealists' domain - it makes solid financial sense. Whether your goal is to minimize the time until your solar installation is paid off, or you want to ride out the Zombie apocalypse in comfortable energy self-sufficiency, we have the perfect solution for your location and building use. Contrary to popular perception, year-round self-sufficiency can be reasonably achieved in the Midwest. We have close relationships to vendors of weekly and seasonal energy storage systems which will keep lights and heat on year-round.

State licensed heating & cooling contractor. Master HVAC KY Journeyman licensed, N.A.T.E. certified, TVA Quality Contractor Member, Liability & Workers Compensation insurance. We have financing available through TVA, GreenSky Synchrony Bank, and Paris Board of Public Utilities.

"They explained to me what was bad and what my options were. I ended up replacing the entire system with an upgraded system. They walked me through everything and even checked all of my duct work to ensure an even flow and were very professional. They left no messes anywhere and it only took them two and a half days to complete everything. Very polite and answered all my questions. Very pleased with them, and I would highly recommend them."

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

Yes, a dirty air filter can cause a higher electric bill. That’s because clogged filters make it harder for air to flow through your HVAC system, which forces it to work harder and use more energy. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, replacing dirty filters can save you between 5% and 15% in utility costs.

Condensation forms when warmer, outside air combines with cooler air in your ductwork. This can happen when there are leaks in your air ducts, your HVAC system has a dirty air filter, or there’s a lack of insulation around the ducts. To prevent it from happening, replace your HVAC filters as directed. Also, once every five years, hire a local air duct cleaner to clean and inspect them.

You can air condition your Arizona room by extending your home’s existing HVAC system or adding a ductless mini-split system. Arizona rooms that have full windows rather than screens only are a better choice for air conditioning—screens will let the cold air out as fast as the air conditioner can make it.

To reset your air conditioner, start by turning it off at the thermostat. Then, shut off power to the AC system at the circuit breaker. Next, find the “reset” button on your AC unit and hold it for three to five seconds. The unit should beep several times. If your air conditioner doesn’t have a reset button, leave the circuit breaker off for 30 minutes. Afterward, turn the power back on at the breaker and program the thermostat to “cool” to test the system.

They can, but it’s not as common. Window AC units are much smaller than whole-house systems and less likely to develop refrigerant leaks or similar issues. As a result, you will rarely need to add a new refrigerant, limiting overcharging problems. However, it’s still important to leave refrigerant management in the hands of professionals when window units need work.
