"Solicited recommendations in my neighborhood social media website for a contractor to put up a shed in my backyard and 502 Construction was one of the 3 that I contacted from that list. Of the 3 I contacted, Ted (502 Construction) and one other where the only 2 to come out to look at what I wanted and ball park me an estimate. The other one that did come out and look at the backyard and hear me out on what I wanted...well...never heard from him again, never even got the quote/estimate from him. Ted with 502 construction was a pleasure to work with. He framed up the slab one day and poured it when the weather broke. After the concrete had cured, and my shed kit was delivered, he got right to putting it up! He works alone so it took him a few days to get through it, but he worked until dark most days and got it done! Couldn't be happier with the service he provided and will definitely be using his services again for other projects I have in mind next year!"

Fountains questions, answered by experts

To maintain your pond, you’ll need to occasionally clean your backyard pond, especially if you have koi fish. Test the water twice a week to make sure your fish have everything they need and always remove visible debris.

A good rule of thumb is to change 5% to 15% of your koi pon’s water every week. Partial water changes help keep your koi healthy, and replacing small amounts at a time prevents causing stress for the fish.

Although we often equate bodies of water with pesky mosquitoes, you don’t have to worry about them in your natural swimming pool. This is because mosquitoes are attracted to bodies of standing water. Your natural pool, on the other hand, has consistently moving water, thanks to the pump that runs all year long.

A koi pond should be at least 5 feet deep to keep the fish healthy and ensure they don’t freeze in winter. Koi fish are also known for growing large, so the more room you have, the better. A larger koi pond size will allow the fish to grow bigger than a smaller one will, and the more fish you have, the bigger the pond you’ll need. Learn how to build a pond in your backyard to ensure it remains functional and aesthetically pleasing for a long time.

Yes, your fish should stay alive in a frozen pond if you winterize it properly. By ensuring your pond has enough oxygen, good water quality, and a hole to release harmful gases, your pond and fish have the best chance of staying alive and healthy. However, if you have tropical fish, they should be overwintered indoors.
