I have used Wheatley roofing for roof repairs, installing gutter guards and to fix aluminum flashing for facia boards. They have always been responsive, professional and charged a fair price.

We had some wind damage to our house and used Wheatley Roofing for the repairs. They were responsive, professional, and very reasonable. I highly recommend them and would gladly use them again in the future.

I had used them before I joined the Angie's list. They were prompt and did a good job . They did exactly what they said they were going to do and they did it in a timely manner.

The cost was to be $13,500. I had a $1000 deductible and my sales guy said that they needed the $12,800 up front. So, I gave them a certified check. They started immediately. I was happy they started so fast, but wondered if it was because they had no other jobs. My sales guy was great, but he had brought me over from Middletown Roofing where he was when we first discussed the roof with him.
The job was completed and it snowed the next day. And the snow stayed on the roof for about a month that year. I got a call from Bo Wheatley on the week that most of the snow melted. He wanted me to visually OK the roof. If it was summer, I would have climbed on the roof and inspected it. but because mud was everywhere and the height of the roof and pitch, I did not feel comfortable looking that close. I told him this and he said any defects in material was 30 year and workmanship would be covered under the 1 year warranty.
He asked for the remaining $1000 balance. I told him I would have the money in 45 days. He said OK. At about a week before the 45 day mark, I got a letter from his Attorney threatening me if I did not pay. By this time I had the ability to look at the roof a little better and asked for a repair to be made. he said not until I pay. I then paid that Friday all but $200 to make sure he did the correction. Then, I get a letter from his attorney that he was suing me if I did not pay the remainder. It was a stalemate for 2 months. Then his Attorney turned up the heat and said he knew the Judge in my town and he was hinting at dirty politics. I just happened to have only about $500 in the bank at the time and did not feel I could afford an attorney. So, I finally paid and guess what? he still did not repair the defect and I have to stare at it everyday!
This has to be the worst contractor experience I have ever had.
I paid almost all the money up front. I only left our less than 2% for repair and got sued. Really? Most contractors I don't pay until all is finished and to my satisfaction. What a ripoff Wheatley Roofing is!

They did a very good and professional job with the work. It was a good price compared to what other people had quoted. They were prompt and worked quickly. I would recommend using them.

We noticed a few leaks in our attic. We were referred to Wheatley Roofing. Upon calling, they came out quickly to assess and make the repairs. While they came out quickly, I did find it odd that the repairs were done and they left without consulting me (I was in the
house the entire time). My expectation was that they would take a look and talk to me about the scope (and cost) of the repairs before performing them - and that they would have let me know when they were done.
About a month after the repair we noticed that one of the repaired area's was still leaking. I called again (as their repairs are guaranteed) and someone was promptly sent out. The guy that came out said he went up and took pictures, but would get back to me on what the repair would look like (not performed in same visit). After that, I didn't hear anything for a few weeks. I left a couple of messages, and still didn't hear back. Finally I called and spoke directly with someone in the office. They put me in touch with Bo. He apologized for not getting back to me and assured me he had a plan for going forward. After hanging up with him, I didn't hear back for a few more weeks and called again. Upon speaking to Bo, he apologized again for not being in touch - and sent out a quote shortly after. Since sending out the quote (about a month ago at this point) I was supposed to have also received pictures of the damaged areas (which have not arrived). At this point I've given up.

They were absolutely fantastic. They answered all questions and they were prompt on service. They kept in contact and inspected after putting the roof on. Their price was comparable as well.

so far, not bad. the gutter workers are backlogged so that is still not done but the roof is on and the box gutters eliminated. was a difficult job due to the box gutters. whenever there was a question or concern Mr Wheatley addressed it quickly. He is very nice and straightforward compared to the other companies we had contacted, some of which never showed and some gave outrageous estimates.

They are excellent. I am about to use them again because I like the way they handle things. They explained everything to me, and told me exactly what they were going to do. They showed me what was wrong with my old gutters, and showed me exactly what they were doing and how it should of been done in the first place. They did a good job.

They did an excellent job of replacing the damage and cleaned up after themselves as if they were never here. The only problem was that they had to come back a second time to redo what it was they came to fix the first time. They were able to get it fixed and it hasn't leaked since.
