They did a great job exactly what we needed and hoped for. They had to use a back up truck because the regular unit was being serviced. The job still went very well. Just plan ahead. They are very busy so it took a while after getting the estimate until they could actually do the wirk but well wirth the wait.

All the way back in 2006 we contracted Dwyer for foundation repair. Releveling and pier supports were necessary and the entire job was about $7000. Scheduling was difficult as they were "booked" several months out, but the job was finally completed. After less than one year cracks began to open in the bricks again (the original problem) and we contacted Dwyer again. After a long wait they came back out and dug up my property a second time to fix the issue. Not quite a year later the bricks began to open up again. The response was a bit quicker this time, and the crew chief that came said they would install an additional pier at no cost. The property was dug up a third time and the new pier installed. This stabilized the house for a few years, but eventually the cracks returned (in the original locations). In the past year the cracks have opened considerably at one corner where 3 piers are located. After three attempts at leveling my home I have lost all confidence in Dwyer's ability to do what they promise. My wife contacted their office and the regional supervisor was out, so after explaining the situation she was transferred to someone in their corporate office who stated they the company president. Explaining the situation again, she expressed our lack of trust that Dwyer could fix the problem and asked if we could be refunded the value of the work done and have some other company do the work. That offer was rejected and he stated that he had recently purchased the company from the previous owners and was not bound by any previous warranties. He would have the regional manager come inspect the damage the following Monday and we would go from there. He arrived on time and agreed we have an issue and would follow up with the president on what he found. Two days later he called back and said they would fix the piers at no cost, but we would have to sign a waiver releasing them from any future liability (despite the fact that my original warranty was for the life of the structure). It's my belief that if Dwyer could not get this right after digging up my yard the first three times then it's doubtful that it will be any different after a fourth attempt. Also, the fact that my original warranty is worthless makes me question Dwyer's confidence in their own ability to fix this. If you are looking for foundation repair work I would strongly recommend avoiding Dwyer.

"July 10, 2017 Mr. [Member Name Removed] [Member Information Removed] Drive Lexington, KY [Member Information Removed] RE: Re-pressure Three (3) Piers at Front Right Corner of the Residence On September 20, 2006, Mr. Steve Wade with Dwyer Concrete Lifting arrived at [Member Information Removed] Drive, Lexington, KY [Member Information Removed] and met with Mr. [Member Name Removed] At that appointment, Mr. Wade sold Mr. [Member Name Removed] a total of seven (7) steel push piers. Four (4) of the piers were located at the back left corner of the house and three (3) of the piers were located on the front right corner of the house. On November 13, 2006, Dwyer Concrete Lifting arrived on-site to install the seven (7) steel push piers. On November 14, 2006 all seven (7) of the piers were installed and the project completed. On February 15, 2008, Dwyer Concrete Lifting arrived back on-site to check the pressure of two piers installed in November 2006. The piers had lost pressure during this time. The piers were re-pressured and Dwyer Concrete Lifting added two (2) additional piers at no cost to Mr. [Member Name Removed]. The two additional piers were added to the left front corner of the house, next to the garage. On November 19, 2012, Mr. Mike Melton with Dwyer Concrete Lifting met with Mr. [Member Name Removed] to look at the back of the residence this time. At that time Mr. Melton wrote an estimate for seven (7) piers along the back of the residence. The estimate stated that the customer would remove the deck boards and Dwyer Concrete Lifting would remove joists as needed and tuckpoint in the working area. Dwyer has not performed any work on this residence since 2008. On June 13, 2017, Mrs. [Member Name Removed] contacted The Dwyer Company to notify us that the front right corner of the house had moved again. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] spoke with Mr. Dave Jacob, President of The Dwyer Company. On June 21, 2017, Mr. Wesley Moore, Regional Manager with The Dwyer Company met Mrs. [Member Name Removed] to observe the front right corner of her residence. Mr. Moore observed a crack in the working area at the front right corner. Mr. Moore explained to Mrs. [Member Name Removed] that The Dwyer Company would service her piers at no cost to them. While on-site, Mr. Moore observed the other piers on the left side of the house. The other piers looked to be doing what they were designed to do. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] contacted Mr. Moore back on June 23, 2017, and stated that she had no confidence in Dwyer and that she wanted to go with another Foundation Company. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] asked The Dwyer Company to pay her $2,000.00 towards the bill of the other Foundation Company. Mr. Moore told Mrs. [Member Name Removed] that The Dwyer Company was still willing to come out and re-pressure the three (3) piers on the front right corner of her residence. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] declined to let The Dwyer Company re-pressure the three (3) piers on the front right corner of her residence at no cost to Mrs. [Member Name Removed]. The Dwyer Company's goal is to be professional and hard working. I hope that all parties involved find that our company is willing to stand by our contractual agreement made with our clients. Thank You, Wesley Moore The Dwyer Company Kentucky Regional Manager 900 Contract Street Suite 200 Lexington, Kentucky 40505"

There was difficulty scheduling the work. I signed a contract in November 2016, but because of weather, the work could not be done until March 9, 2017. I found it difficult to get the scheduling done. I did not receive calls back from them when I expected. There was also some confusion about doing tuck-pointing as part of the job. Eventually it was done satisfactorily. I would have rated them an "A-" if I could, but I would hire them again.

They did a very good job. They did an extra stuff for us when they saw what was going on. They were very nice, they were on time, they were very courteous and proper etiquette, with being younger people, very polite. They knew what they were doing. They just wore shorts and shirts and stuff. They didn't have any kind of uniform and I would think a company would have uniforms for their people, or some type of logo on a shirt or something, which they did not have. I think their boys need to be identified with who they are with.

They told me what they were going to do, came when they said they would, and performed the service as they said.  The work was better than I ever expected.  I enthusiastically recommend this fine company.

They did a very good job.  We have a small walkway to the front door that sank.  Their concrete lifting service brought it back up and it removed the trip hazard that was present.
We had to wait longer to have it done because their truck broke down and had they had to fix it  then winter came and it was done the next spring, which was no big deal to us.
Very nice, professional people.

Schedule was not important so it was several weeks until the job was completed after my first contact with Dwyer. This was OK by me. They didn't forget their promise and returned to finish the job, which took an hour or so. Work was completed in a workman like manner and the results were as promised.

We had some difficulty getting the work scheduled due to some communication issues and mishaps with Dwyer, reflected by the B rating for responsiveness. When the job was finally scheduled, the workers came promptly and Kevin, the foreman, did an excellent job informing us of the time frame for the job completion and keeping the team on task. The work was done as expected and in the time frame presented to us. Moreover, even after the days of rain prior to the work date, the team kept the area relatively clean and clear of mud. They cleaned up the area after completing the job to our satisfaction as well. The crack that was most noticeable extending from the second floor window to the footer was nearly invisible. The mortar work was excellent, blending in very well with the current mortar on the house. We were very pleased with the outcome. In addition, Dwyer adequately addressed communication issues we had in scheduling the work offering us a fair discount for the inconvenience. Overall, we were very pleased with the work and would highly recommend Dwyer to others that have foundation stabilization issues.

The team and project manager (Mac Childers) were punctual and extremely professional. They explained as they were doing the lift. They also cleaned up very well when the project was complete. I would definitely work with this group again in the future.

When we had questions about our home's foundation, Dwyer was the only company that even returned our phone call. Their technician looked at several areas we were concerned about, and answered all of our questions. We also used Dwyer prior to this when selling our old house - it did need some foundation repair, and Dwyer again was the only company that bothered to call us back or give us an estimate.

I could not believe that this had worked. It is also guaranteed for three years to. I did have an estimate from someone else that was a little lower, but, I chose Dwyer instead. He even said that he did not know why they were more expensive than the other company, but we are he said. They do big jobs and they have been around for years. I like the fact that he worked around my schedule and cleaned up good to.
