"I was very hopeful for this service. Red flag #1- On the evening of the third 3rd visit- I noticed the pool water was pumping slowly. I opened the pool filter- it was full. There was no bad weather that day to cause that. I was pretty disappointed especially since cleaning the filter is always step 1 in the pool cleaning process. Later, I noticed some algae lines in the pool. On the evening of a pool cleaning I came home from work to find the algae marks were still there. Thos told me that the pool wasn't being brushed- again, another basic yet critical step in a cleaning a pool. Then the last straw was when after a pool cleaning- my pool still had a green tint in the water and more algae (see attached). So I tested it. I was shocked to see that the pool had hardly any chemicals in it at all. I checked my invoices and I was charged for chemicals. But the invoices proved my suspension- during all of cleanings the only chemicals the pool was getting was 1 or 2 bags of shock. "

My partner and I have been working on our own for a few months now, but have well over 8 years of experience within the pool industry. We offer seasonal pool opening and closings, upgrading of pool systems and additional weekly and bi-weekly services. We also have experience with other seasonal services such as gutter cleanings, pressure washing, snow/ ice removal, landscaping and lawn mowing. Elder Pools is a family owned business based in New Albany, Indiana. Our licensed professionals have been building & servicing swimming pools since 2016. Our motto is (We Keep You Swimming).

"This “company” told me they could come out, compact and flatten the sand under my pool, and that it would be warrantied! They basically came out, got the check and left me with half the parts missing to my pool, and the ground no better than before they started! I have contacted them MULTIPLE times, everytime Sean and a woman promising a return phone call to get me my refund, and then suddenly my number as well as my husband’s are both suddenly blocked. They owe me $990. We tried to cancel the check but they left my home and ran straight to a bank before I realized what had even happened. Absolutely do not recommend these guys. We tried to give them SO many chances to just do the right thing before resorting to this.. and now, we have a lawyer involved so we can get our money back. Terrible business! Avoid at absolutely all costs!!"
