Urgent Care Appliance Repair

I called Urgent Care Appliance Repair at 8am on Father's Day and received a call back within an hour by Forrest to schedule my appointment within 48 hours. He arrived on-time and was polite and professional. He brought the part that needed replaced, which was the pump & was able to fix a 20 year-old washing machine within a few minutes. Forrest was on time and came with his PPE during COVID. He answered my call on a Saturday and set up an appointment within 48 business hours of my call for a non-urgent repair. He identified a pump clogged and advised that if we had more problems the service call charge for coming on-site would not be charged again if he needed to return within 30 days. Honest. Reliable. Good value for the service provided and good overall experience. We'd highly recommend.

Washer was unrepairable-motherboard and bearings going out. Did not run up the bill.

Even though I have to buy a new range now, I have to say this service was a very pleasant experience. Forrest is simply great. He spent almost 2 hours trying to identify the mysterious behavior of this so-called professional and expensive "chef collection" range from Samsung that is full of electronics and obviously fails after 4 years. He found the possible root cause and the associated electronic part. The board and the labor for that repair would have been $520 and he said he would love to repair it but he cannot guarantee that the new board would fix the multiple problems. This "space engineered" range has five different boards (!) He recommended to take the loss and buy a new range. I listened to his advice. No more Samsung appliances for me. Oh, by the way, Forrest charged only $99 for 2 hours for the disassembly and reassembly necessary for the detective work. He easily could have attempted to try to fix the range and charge the $500 plus at a second visit with part in hand but instead he honestly said that he cannot guarantee a satisfactory result with that type of range. If anyone is looking for a trustworthy service - call Forrest.

It went very well. Forrest arranged an appointment for the same morning and he arrived promptly. He asked questions and after disassembling part of the refrigerator he explained clearly what my options were. I decided on repair and he went to get a part and came right back to install it. I am very satisfied with the service provided.

It was great! Forrest was available the very next day after our phone conversation and he arrived right on time, calling to let us know he was on his way. I've known Forrest for many years (he's a friend of my kids) and it was SO good to get caught up again. He's now our appliance guru for anything else that goes wrong. AND he fixed the dryer!

He found where the line was stopped up & had it repaired within 20 minutes. Totally satisfied. Sears could not get here until 6-20-2019. So glad I changed companies.

Very Quick service

Fridge started working correctly before service call. Had pro check it out anyway. Very professional and courteous.

The service was awesome! A diagnostic test of my washing machine revealed that everything was working properly. Fortunately, after simply tilting my machine, which was stuck on drain mode, (it thought it still had water to drain) and then setting it back down, it somehow reset my machine, and it started working again. The repairman told me that my service call was good for 30 days, so if anything else happens during that time, he will come back out without charing for the trip. He was super nice, professional, and very helpful!

I knew it was $125 for the service call and told Forrest preliminary indicated the control board needed to be replaced on my used dryer; he requested and I sent him the model # the day before the appointment. He came in, said "it's your control board" and wrote up a $500 estimate. If feel if he were acting in good faith, he could have ballparked that estimate during our call, saving his visit and my $125. He spent about 5 minutes in my house, less than half of that looking at my dryer. That charge Could and should have been avoided.

The technician called and was able to come early which was much better for me.
