"MiniMoves Inc. was very efficient in handling our small move. They were responsive in getting a quote to us and setting up a pickup time. The 3 men (Tay, C.J. & Chay) who showed up in a timely fashion, carefully packed up all our items and were very professional and respective in our home. Our items were received at the other end of the move quicker than expected. Again the men who delivered our items were very professional and communicated well with us. All of our items, many of which were valuable art pieces were delivered and unpacked in perfect condition. We couldn't be happier with this small move experience. We will definitely use them again for another small move in the future. We are gradually moving our belongings from Chicago to Palm Desert, CA in setting up our winter home. So glad we found MiniMoves."

"We used this company to move out-of-state. Getting a quote and setting up service with Cheryl was very easy and made me feel secure with choosing them for our first interstate move and our first time using a moving company. They sent us a reminder, which made me feel even more comfortable. Prior to the move date, we were told they would be there at 8a, but the reminder said between 8a-10a. The morning of the move, the driver called me around 9a saying they were on their way. They arrived around 930. The driver and mover was great. We thought they would be the ones with us for the whole move. After six plus hours of moving in the rain, we were informed we would have a new mover and we wouldn't have our items delivered until the next day. Mind you, we had to drive 3 hours to our new destination and we had our family with us. With no place to sleep. We called the office to see if we could keep the mover we had and long story short, the manager said no. It's cheaper to get a hotel and the mover is needed on another route. Luckily, our family was okay with sleeping on blow up mattresses, we made it work! However, I didn't like how Cheryl said we should've stayed in a hotel after the manager made that suggestion. We're paying a not-so-cheap amount for a service, it's not Cheryl's place to tell us we should've stayed at a hotel. Her rude remark was unprofessional and unwarranted. The manager assured us our items would be delivered first thing the next morning. 8am sharp! 10a rolls around and the drivers are about to pull up with the truck at the new location. The deiver was given the wrong address to pick up the new mover which made him late. I called the Louisville office and Cheryl again, said we have the same address they have. I made sure to tell Cheryl, that address is null and void because it was the wrong address and your men are late because of it. The manager said there was nothing they could do. After the move, we noticed our washer and dryer wasn't working. The washer sounded like scrap metal ans the dryer was burning. We called and left a voice-mail after hours for them to get it first thing. A new manager called and asked about the washer and dryer. We had to wait three days for them to send a vendor out. They gave the vendor the wrong address. I gave the vendor the correct address. With him having the wrong address intially, it made him rush through our appointment. He called the office to tell them he found a nail clipper and it was our fault. We didn't have any issues with our washer and dryer before the move. However, he left it at that. My husband took the washer apart and found out the washer was bent inside from them not securing it enough. He called the vendor and the manager back to let them know it was indeed their fault and not ours. We also had to buy another dryer vent for the dryer because the movers didn't bring ours nor tell us about it. Overall, the movers were great. Aside from the washer and dryer situation, they were great! They're the reason for two stars and not one. The office personnel on the other hand, awful!"

"In spite of numerous negative reviews about Move Quick, Inc., I opted to hire this company for my move from West Virginia to Los Angeles. I spoke to Phillip, the manager/owner, who convinced me that the posted complaints had been resolved and were exaggerations. However, I, too, was subjected to an exaggerated low bid in order to snag my business. I, too, experience problems with the pick up and the delivery dates. The movers were a day late in arriving, then quoted me a 67% increase in price, from $3,100 to $5,200. BUT I was stuck. The company already had my deposit money. Also, I was charged for one flight of stairs and an exaggerated inaccurate measurement of my front door to the truck. I had been told there was no fee for one flight. I had provided exact measurements for the items in my two rooms of furniture. True, I had 51 boxes instead of 40 but that did not warrant such an increase in price, 67% almost $2,000. Delivery was also problematic. I had told Move Quick, Inc. that I would be at my new home 25 days after the pick up, October 30, 2019. That should have been more than enough time for any truck to drive cross country. They made me wait until December 4, 2020, a total of 25 days to drive 2,400 miles. I made the drive solo in 5 days. Communication with the company once they have your money is near to impossible. It took threats and 6 days for Philip to respond. He then provided an insignificant $75 discount. My recommendation: go with a larger company than can provide an accurate estimate and deliver within a reasonable time. Also, use a company that uses the industry standard of moving cost based on the weight of your items. Don’t let Phillip tell you his method of charging based on volume is better. No one else does this, for a reason. Other estimates I had received were in the $3,700 range.I should have Booked Elsewhere!”"
