 + 1 moreAs I said, the work took several years to complete, but Matt kept me posted on the progression of the work, sent pictures, and let me make payments on a schedule that worked for us. Seldom would I say I was completely satisfied with a service or product, but with Matt Grossman, you can be certain you will get what you pay for, from a knowledgable, experienced professional.
Description of Work: Matt Grossman has tuned my Story and Clark upright piano for years. When my mother passed away, she had a beautiful Steinway grand piano that was in need of major restoration; I called Matt for an evaluation and appraisal and, altho the work took several years to complete (and he told me that it would, as well as giving me a detailed estimate of what would be involved), the final product is gorgeous, in sound and presentation. Not only did I cry when I saw it for the first time after Matt worked his magic on it, but my husband cried, too. Is the service expensive? Not when it is worth every penny, and completed by a master craftsman who also has incomparable integrity.

Description of Work: I have my piano tuned once a year and have had Vintage Piano Works tune it for the past 10 years. I have always been pleased with the work. The tuner always spends a sufficient amount of time to tune my piano correctly and to my satisfaction. When I have asked questions about problems or concerns, the tuner has always taken time to look into my problem. I would highly recommend this company.

 + -1 moreMy piano had not been tuned in over 15 years. I had used Mr. Grossman's services before and have always been pleased. Again, I was very satisfied with his professionalism, promptness and thoroughness. My piano sounds great. He also sends reminder cards when I am due for a tune up!

 + -1 moreMatt has been my piano tuner for 15 years. He is an excellent technician, always shows up on time, and is completely trustworthy. If I am unable to be home when we schedule a tuning, Matt lets himself in to our house and fills in the amount I owe him on a blank check I leave for him. He is truly professional in his work.
