"Extremely impressed with the quality of work from B&B. I had a large mature tree branch break after a storm and not only were they quick on getting me a bid but also quick to get to the job which was very appreciated. "The painting is exactly like the photo I sent in and the artist did exactly what I asked for by cropping it a little. The background colour is nice. Although the photo frame is a little on the thicker side, it’s not a massive set back. And the turn around from when I submitted the photo to when I received it, was so quick. Surface-level tree roots might only pose a small threat, such as being a tripping hazard or obstacle when you mow your lawn. But if mature tree roots start growing in the direction of your home’s foundation or plumbing system, it could be a real problem. Cutting small tree roots out before they grow too large can keep your home safe without removing the whole tree.

The best way is to start controlling tree height long before it grows too large, via careful pruning through the years. But that’s not always possible. If a tree has become too high or too large, use selective pruning to remove the most troublesome branches, one by one, without topping the tree. Gently shaping a tree like this can, over time, correct problems. You can also find growth inhibitors to spray on a tree to stop it from growing too rapidly, but use these sparingly if at all.
