"The move went extremely well. The work performed far exceeded our expectations. The crew sent to do the work consisted primarily of long term employees, some of which had 20+ years of experience with the company. We did most of the packing ourselves, which accelerated the move, however, there were some fragile items that we were unsure of how to pack and the crew packed such items with care. They moved limited household items to an apartment where we will live for a short period of time as construction of our new house is being completed, while the bulk of our household goods were moved into Sherman's storage facility. Once we move to the new house, they will collect the items moved to our short term apartment along with the bulk of our household goods placed into storage and deliver them to our new house. The cost of doing all this work was fair and well worth the cost; we had a large house (approximately 3,100 SF) that was completely furnished with all the necessary household items. We look forward to our final move and expect that it will go as well as the first move. Moving is extremely stressful and the crew sent to our house helped alleviate such stress. I highly recommend Sherman Moving and Storage for your moving and storage needs. One other positive aspect of Sherman is that they are a local company and it shows in their work."

"Working with Michael to set up the two moves with terrific. My problems came from the actual movers. The first movers dropped a heavy piece and damaged it. This group to our items to a location where they were transferred to another group to finish the move. More damage happened. The second move was done by a different group who picked up our things and delivered them. Again some damage. My problem with the second move was with the claim department at National Van Lines. I was overly careful about the damages I claimed (only submitting the largest items or easiest to replace), but had to negotiate to get a fair deal. BUT NVL did set me up with a great guy who could fix most of the damaged items."
