"All Service Moving was exceptional. Great customer service - easy to schedule and flexible. Royce & Frost did an AMAZING job moving all of our very heavy and fragile belongings. They handled all of our requests and items with care and worked both efficiently and quickly. They were super friendly and very customer service oriented. I can't thank them enough for the GREAT job they did. I highly recommend All Service Moving for anything moving and/or storage related. And DEFINITELY request Royce & Frost to handle your job. Thank You!"

"Fantastic! From the moment Marci and Ann conducted the telephone interview, to the day of the move, everything was perfect. Bill and Phil worked extremely hard moving all of the heavy furniture, including a sofa bed, down two flights of stairs without complaint. They even assembled one dining room hutch. The move was completed in three hours. Bill and Phil have been with the company 17 years! The price was VERY reasonable. I would highly recommend John Mitchell Moving to anyone moving in the Indianapolis area."

"Barry was great. He was very responsive and we exchanged several messages in the days leading up to our appointment. He was very friendly and helpful, which made our move into a new house much less stressful. He gave an estimate for the work before starting, and then he charged the same amount even though he ended up having to stay from about 8 am to 8 pm, much longer than we expected. (We gave him a little extra for his effort!)"

I've been working in HVAC for over 25 years, and at this point, there's not much I haven't seen or fixed. From quick repairs to full system installs, I take pride in doing the job right the first time. No shortcuts, no guesswork. I'm based out of Brazil, Indiana, and I'm willing to travel up to 100 miles to help homeowners stay comfortable year-round. Whether your heat goes out in the middle of winter or your AC quits during a heatwave, I show up ready to get things handled. I believe in honest work, fair pricing, and treating your home like it's my own. When you call me, you're getting experience, reliability, and someone who actually cares about keeping your system running the way it should.

Moving FAQs, answered by experts

According to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, mobile homes built before 1976 do not meet the current safety standards and shouldn’t be moved even a short distance.

If you’re moving locally, pack up your condiments in a cooler and move them in your car or moving truck so you can put them in the fridge as soon as you arrive at your new place. For long-distance moves, use up or empty out all opened condiments or give them to your neighbors. Pack unopened condiments in a box or give them away if you don’t want to move them.

Disassembling a shed before you move it could save space and ease the process of loading it onto a moving vehicle. However, you should only disassemble it if it was designed for the possibility of re-building it at your new home. Consult the original process and materials required to build the shed in the first place when considering this option.

You don’t want to put anything on top of your mirror when you move it. You also want to limit the possibility that something heavy will fall on the glass and shatter it. For this reason, it’s not a good idea to lay a mirror flat in the moving truck.

Moving pods are most often available in three sizes: 8, 12, and 16 feet. To move a four-bedroom house, you’ll likely need two 16-foot moving pods. Of course, the exact answer depends more on your house’s square footage and the amount of belongings you have than on the number of bedrooms in the house. For example, moving a small four-bedroom house may only require one 16-foot pod and one 8-foot pod, but moving a large four-bedroom house may require more than two 16-foot pods.
