"Create VIPS, LLC is a great company with great employees. After the repair man came by for our first appointment, he also gave me a follow-up call to check and see if things were going ok with my ceiling fan light and he let me know that if I needed anymore help with my light to give him a call and he would come back out to check it out again and that made me feel great. This is a great company with great employees. Thank you for all of your help."

"He was a great guy to get to know I had never met a guy before, But apparently he's 20 plus a year veteran electrical veteran. He was able to find a problrm right away and get me back up and running in those two bathroom locations with a new look on ourselves since we could see ourselves with additional light now. Very pleased with the work that he did"

Lighting questions, answered by experts

Replacing a pool light costs about $625 per light. If you only need to replace the light bulb, plan on paying about $20 to $100 per light. The largest cost factors include the type of pool light, the number of pool lights needed, and the labor costs in your location. But additional cost factors include work required on existing wiring, other repairs, and the continual maintenance needed to keep your pool light in good working condition after installation.

Pool lights are designed to be safe by protecting swimmers from electrocution. These lights are made with waterproof fixtures and seals to prevent contact with the water.

Electrocution from pool lights is still possible, but rare. Faulty wiring or broken lighting equipment can make lights unsafe, so it’s important to replace lights as needed and have an electrician inspect and upgrade the wiring.

You can use outdoor electrical outlets to conveniently power landscaping equipment such as electrical lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and pressure washers. From a recreational standpoint, outdoor outlets are handy for powering electric grills, mini-fridges, and stereos. They're also helpful when it's time to string Christmas lights on your home and around your property.

Yes, outdoor lights and receptacles should be on a ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) for safety. The outdoors is considered a wet location where GFCI protection is generally required. A GFCI enhances safety by automatically tripping and shutting off the circuit if it detects an imbalance, which protects against electrocution and reduces the risk of an electrical fire. While it is the safest approach for all outdoor electrical components, specific requirements can vary depending on the type of light (e.g., pool lights), its location, and local electrical codes. For guidance tailored to your specific situation, it's best to consult a professional electrician.

Installations include new light fixtures, upgraded panels, fixed outlets, and tracked wiring continuity.
