Carr's Lawn and Landscape is a full service lawn care and landscape service company. We have been providing our customers in the Fort Wayne area with lawn mowing, lawn fertilization, landscape maintenance and installation and irrigation services since 1999.

"Last summer I was looking to get my landscaping updated, and then to possibly setup weekly mowing. I called Carrs - they were very friendly and were able to give me a quote for mowing over the phone and it took just a few days to get the quote for the yard. They came in at a good price (I did price around) and I opted to go with them. I'm glad that I did - the guys always do a great job and are courteous. I'd highly recommend Carr's to anyone looking for landscaping and/or weekly mowing. The cost of the service below was for 4 new shrubs, all new mulching in all the mulch bed, landscaping clean up/trimming of shrubs/bushes, weed removal, etc."

Try the tool test first. A screwdriver or a similarly long, thin tool will work best, as spades and shovels are too big. It’s a good idea to aerate your lawn in the fall or spring when there is plenty of moisture in the soil. If you plan to aerate twice annually, you can do so once in the fall and once in the spring. You don’t want to aerate when your grass is dormant, and you also don’t want to aerate directly after a big rain, as the soil will be too wet for the aeration to be effective.
