"Came out and checked out the chimney - chase cover had rusted and was letting water leak in ( had some staining on my ceiling ). Gave me a fair quote, had a custom stainless steel cover fabricated and installed quickly. They did a great job and would hire again."

"JEFF WORKED INCREDIBLY HARD WITHOUT HELP FOR 1 1/2 DAYS. CLEAN UP WAS SUCH THAT WE COULDN'T TELL HE'D BEEN HERE. VERY NICE MAN. VERY PROMPT CALL-BACKS AND IN KEEPING APPOINTED TIMES. MY SUGGESTION -- IF YOU HAVE A NEWER BUT LEAKY ROOF, CONSIDER GETTING YOUR CHIMNEY LOOKED AT BY A CHIMNEY SPECIALIST AS WELL AS A ROOFING COMPANY - YOU MIGHT JUST NEED CHIMNEY WORK, WHICH ROOFERS GENERALLY DO NOT DO."

"Rob and Rick and their staff were punctual and very good to work with. They treated, repaired, and sealed some damaged subflooring and I was pleased with their work. Would definitely work with them again in the future.

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

"It would have been around $200 and he gave me a discount because I was close. It was a fair deal. He repaired stuff without a lot of extra charges or up-selling. I think the price was comparable to anything else I called around."

"One of the best companies I have ever had work on my house. Kept in constant contact with me, and went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied. Got me a better type of shingle, by working with their supplier, which had a better warranty than any other company i had looked at previously. Also ensures that they worked with fixing a leak around my chimney. Would hire them again in a heartbeat."

"The Zackery Group was awesome. They went over the process of installation in terms that my dad and I could understand. Before agreeing that a new unit was needed The Zackery Group tried to fix the part that caused the unit not to work. My dad and I really appreciated that they took the time to try to fix the problem before assuming that a new unit was needed. We will definitely recommend them to friends and family."

"They were recommended to me by others who had good luck with them in the past. They rebuilt my chimney that had rotted and was pouring water in my home. They did a great job.  They were prompt, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves."

Chimney Repair questions, answered by experts

Signs your chair frame may need repairs include wobbling, creaking, visible cracks, or loose joints. A professional upholsterer will inspect the frame during the prep stage and recommend necessary repairs, which may add to the overall cost but ensure a longer-lasting result. Your upholsterer may be able to repair your frame for you, or they may refer you to a furniture repair specialist, depending on your chair’s needs.

Yes, you can disassemble most furniture with the proper tools and experience. Beds, tables, bookshelves, and chairs are all items that can be disassembled. Be sure to keep track of parts like screws and hardware by labeling them with the disassembled items. Avoid disassembling delicate or antique items in case they become too damaged to reassemble.

Paper moving pads, also called furniture wrapping paper or paper moving blankets, are sheets of recycled paper used to protect various items during moving. Similar to traditional moving blankets, paper pads are also reusable, making them a sustainable and cost-effective option for protecting your belongings during the moving process. Although they’re recycled, they still provide excellent protection against dust, dirt, and scratches.

The weight capacity depends on the construction method and the quality of the hardware.  Basic side-mount slides often support 50 pounds, but less expensive versions may be rated lower. Properly built drawers with dado joints and heavy-duty, full-extension slides can typically support between 75 and 100 lbs. Be sure to check the manufacturer’s weight rating for your specific drawer slides.

Whether it is worth it to ship your bedroom furniture depends on your priorities, but it can be hard to decide. You should ship your bedroom furniture if the pieces have sentimental or antique value and if it will make you happy to have them in your new home. But if your mattress or box spring is worn out (the average lifespan of a bed is seven to ten years), it's probably not worth the money or effort to ship if you’re moving somewhere where bedroom furniture is readily available.
