"DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN. He took our deposit money and never painted an inch of our home. My wife and I are still sick about it. Justin took over $1500 from me and deposited it in good faith, accepting a job to paint the exterior of my home. Half way through the pressure washing on day one, he quit and walked off the job. Justin assured me I would receive my full deposit back. Two weeks later -- after I had to ask him for my money back -- he sends me a bill for exactly HALF of the deposit. No discussion. Justin just took our money and ran. Save yourself a trip to small claims court, and find someone else to do your painting – ANYONE else."

TOP QUALITY MATERIALS A CONTRACTOR YOU CAN TRUST What does this mean? It means you can trust us to stand behind our work, and we have no problem doing just that- because we do it right the first time. Our crews are experienced, trained, and educated to offer you the best in service and professionalism. Roofers and contractors are a dime a dozen, but quality ones just are not. We are fully licensed, bonded and insured, which means you can count on us and know your dealing with a good, reputable company.

"Wallace construction came to my door after seeing shingles missing on my roof. Unlike the fly by night contractors that typically do this approach, Denise was very friendly, had a logo shirt and truck and was very professional. They helped us with our insurance adjuster to pay for a good portion of the new roof when I didn't even realize it was a possibility. They offered great communication which to me is key. Everything was accomplished in a timely and professional manner. Our new roof looks great and definitely improved our curb appeal. Will use for future projects, and I even have a few in mind."

"Vent caps placed on wrong vents. Boot for vent improperly repaired. Nails, Nails, Nails, everywhere! Flat tire due to nails. Salesman very helpful. Roofing supervisor had an attitude problem. Finally had to purchase a magnet and picked up many more nails after I was assured that everything was picked up."

Roof Ice and Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

Purchasing a snow blower costs $100 to $2,300 on average. It all depends on the make, model, and age of the machine you choose. You can also go the rental route if you only need your snow blower for a temporary period. Renting a snow blower costs an average of $75 per day from your local hardware store or rental facility.

Yes—in fact, it’s an important step in how to start a snow blower. Allowing the engine to idle for a few minutes prior to using a snow blower helps it reach its optimal operating temperature, which gets the fuel running properly, improves its performance, and helps prevent stalling during frigid weather.

Knocking down icicles won’t help prevent ice dams, as the dams form on the bottoms of your roof slopes and not on the gutters themselves. However, removing icicles can reduce the risk of injury if they form over heavily trafficked areas, and it can help prevent permanent damage to your gutters. Just be sure to wear safety equipment and always stay on the ground while knocking them down.

Yes, snow should be removed from a deck to protect it from damage caused by moisture and heavy loads. Shovel the snow off of your deck regularly once it is more than four inches deep. Avoid using salt, which can damage your deck.

It is not advisable to use salt on your roof to prevent or remove ice dams. It’s not only mostly ineffective but can also cause serious damage to your roof itself. Salt can rust metal, damage masonry, pit shingles, and cause runoff that’s damaging to plants and animals.
