"Mike and Leo did an amazing job on my deck. I shared some ideas as to what I was looking for and once it was completed it was so much more than I had imagined. They are very honest and trustworthy and went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with my new deck. I would highly recommend them for any of your landscaping projects and they will definitely be first on my list to call for my next project."

"DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN. He took our deposit money and never painted an inch of our home. My wife and I are still sick about it. Justin took over $1500 from me and deposited it in good faith, accepting a job to paint the exterior of my home. Half way through the pressure washing on day one, he quit and walked off the job. Justin assured me I would receive my full deposit back. Two weeks later -- after I had to ask him for my money back -- he sends me a bill for exactly HALF of the deposit. No discussion. Justin just took our money and ran. Save yourself a trip to small claims court, and find someone else to do your painting – ANYONE else."

TOP QUALITY MATERIALS A CONTRACTOR YOU CAN TRUST What does this mean? It means you can trust us to stand behind our work, and we have no problem doing just that- because we do it right the first time. Our crews are experienced, trained, and educated to offer you the best in service and professionalism. Roofers and contractors are a dime a dozen, but quality ones just are not. We are fully licensed, bonded and insured, which means you can count on us and know your dealing with a good, reputable company.

"Wallace construction came to my door after seeing shingles missing on my roof. Unlike the fly by night contractors that typically do this approach, Denise was very friendly, had a logo shirt and truck and was very professional. They helped us with our insurance adjuster to pay for a good portion of the new roof when I didn't even realize it was a possibility. They offered great communication which to me is key. Everything was accomplished in a timely and professional manner. Our new roof looks great and definitely improved our curb appeal. Will use for future projects, and I even have a few in mind."

Roof Ice and Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

Time varies based on the property size and snow depth, but most jobs take 1-3 hours.

Schedule regular snow removal, apply salt or sand to icy areas, and mark hazards like curbs or drains.

While it’s less common than on other kinds of roofs, yes, ice dams can form on metal roofs. Metal roofs, particularly those with snow guards installed, can still accumulate ice at the roof edge, although ice dams on metal roofs are less likely to cause roof or interior damage than on traditional asphalt shingle roofs.

Rubbing alcohol may also remove ice from your driveway in a pinch. It has a lower freezing point than water, which expedites the unfreezing process. Pour 70 percent isopropyl alcohol into a quart or half-gallon spray bottle and spray it on your driveway. You do not have to dilute it with water.

Heavy amounts of snow could be a problem. In many climates, lots of snow on your rooftop can lead to freeze-thaw cycle that create ice dams, which can damage rooftops. But if you’re using shingle clips, this snow poses an additional problem: As it melts and freezes, it can easily dislodge clips you’ve placed on your roof.

You can clean snow off your roof after a fresh snowfall while it’s still lightweight, but brushing off snow can also dislodge your clips. If you get a lot of snow, then roof clips become less viable.
