"Aztez representative and workers were prompt and courteous. Overall the job turned out OK and looks nice. The James Hardie stucco sheets and trim were installed in a manner that is much better and should be more weather resistant than original stucco sheets. All trim pieces, including angle cuts, were cut by hand with a circular saw but look very good. Notes from the job that lead to my overall rating. 1) Aztec representative and workers communicated very well with me to discuss and decide on options for specific details to ensure the overall look and appearance was maintained. 2) Instead of removing the old siding, I was talked into installing the new sheets over the existing sheets. Because of this, I asked repeatedly to be informed of any damage or deterioration due to water intrusion (old siding had rotted in several locations) and to remove/repair any damage prior to installing the new sheets and trim. To my knowledge, this did not happen because I caught working covering up one location that needed repair. I was disappointed this was not brought to my attention. Were there other areas of damage that were covered up and not repaired? I'll never know. 3) Job was quoted with 2 coats of paint. Paint was sprayed and completed in 1 day. I asked how it was possible to apply 2 coats of paint in one day without letting the 1st coat dry. I was told, 2 passes with the sprayer was the equivalent of 2 coats of paint. I was not aware of this practice and not sure this really constitutes the equivalent of 2 coats of paint. While I noted that I would hire again, this would only be with closer oversight. The latter 2 issues left me with the opinion that the priority of the workers was to get the job done as quickly as possible with less emphasis on quality of work. While I have given a passing grade, there is opportunity for improvement."

"Excellent! We interviewed several area construction contractors before deciding to hire Brent Ash and his business, Centennial Construction and Remodeling Services. Brent is a professional and has more than 20 years experience building custom room additions of all kinds. His broad experience showed during our initial contact that included us discussing options and choices in the backyard to sitting down at our table and methodically going over everything. Never rushed. My wife and I decided to contract with Brent to build an enclosed porch on steroids. Our desire was to have a cathedral ceiling so trust and comfort (opening a large section of our roof!) was huge in our decision to hire. Result was our new back roof ridgeline was expertly built and resulted in a high gable ceiling that peaks at about 16 feet. Our new room measures approximately 14x23 feet and has 11 windows including a half-round window mounted high in the room's center. Brent and his crew (Greg, Tim, and Zach) demolished an existing small concrete pad and stairs and set about installing 6x6 inch green treated posts installed at least 36 inches in the ground. Greg, crew leader, was extremely detailed and patient to ensure the posts were set properly. After several days, the framing of the sub-structure occurred and installing the 2x10 inch floor. We elected to install R-3 blue board insulation over the floor joists and that decision could be felt on our feet during first use on New Year's Day. Nice! The sub-flooring was completed and framing of the porch began within couple workdays. Upon completion of the wall framing, Brent and his crew began the complex job of cutting into existing house roof and making tie-ins. He led the crew in constructing the gable roof using 2x6 inch roof rafters and 2x8 inch ridge beams. Brent spent most of his time over several days completing our roof and then installing ice and water shield membrane with felt. We chose to fully insulate our porch and Brent suggested using two base board heaters, with thermostats, to provide economical warmth. We are thrilled with the result as we have used our porch room during the cold teen days of early January. My wife and I really appreciate the great work done by Centennial. Brent's employees are friendly and approachable to ask questions. Greg, Tim, and Zach compliment Brent's expertise by providing there own high skills during a complex building project. Centennial does subcontract for electrical, and painting. Brent was easily reached for questions or concerns during all phases of our project."

"We contacted two companies that repair concrete. The only thing they wanted to do was tear out the entire porch and replace the concrete. One told us we needed to contact some type of handyman to brace up the roof because they do not do that. I contacted Handyman Connection who sent out Steve. He suggested patching the bad spot then covering the entire porch with an epoxy coating. He would use a color that complemented the rest of the house. He used Olympic Rescue It.
He explained how the Handyman Connection works. They only provide labor  and we were responsible for materials. He would go to Lowes to pick up the proper stuff. They then called us for a credit card number. 
What he suggested was exactly what I thought should be able to be done. After talking to Steve for over an hour I could tell he knew what he was doing. He carved the blue whale at the zoo which he could not figure out  why they wanted it since they do not have any whales. 
He coated the entire porch to below the soil line and ran a thick bead of sealant around where there porch connected to the house.
The color really looked good.
Steve is in high demand so you may need to wait a few weeks for him to get to you.
