"Aztez representative and workers were prompt and courteous. Overall the job turned out OK and looks nice. The James Hardie stucco sheets and trim were installed in a manner that is much better and should be more weather resistant than original stucco sheets. All trim pieces, including angle cuts, were cut by hand with a circular saw but look very good. Notes from the job that lead to my overall rating. 1) Aztec representative and workers communicated very well with me to discuss and decide on options for specific details to ensure the overall look and appearance was maintained. 2) Instead of removing the old siding, I was talked into installing the new sheets over the existing sheets. Because of this, I asked repeatedly to be informed of any damage or deterioration due to water intrusion (old siding had rotted in several locations) and to remove/repair any damage prior to installing the new sheets and trim. To my knowledge, this did not happen because I caught working covering up one location that needed repair. I was disappointed this was not brought to my attention. Were there other areas of damage that were covered up and not repaired? I'll never know. 3) Job was quoted with 2 coats of paint. Paint was sprayed and completed in 1 day. I asked how it was possible to apply 2 coats of paint in one day without letting the 1st coat dry. I was told, 2 passes with the sprayer was the equivalent of 2 coats of paint. I was not aware of this practice and not sure this really constitutes the equivalent of 2 coats of paint. While I noted that I would hire again, this would only be with closer oversight. The latter 2 issues left me with the opinion that the priority of the workers was to get the job done as quickly as possible with less emphasis on quality of work. While I have given a passing grade, there is opportunity for improvement."

"Chris Sheets and the team at JD Hostetter did a full roof replacement and siding repair at our house after a storm in 2020. Then they did a full exterior paint job and added shutters in 2022. Both jobs were first rate and we couldn't have been happier with the service and the workmanship. I highly recommend them exterior house work."

"They finally got the job done. They mis-measured it to begin with. So they had to go back and do it again. There was virtually no description with the picture that was shown on Angie's List as to the job. What I ordered through Angie's List was to have a top put on the chimney, a chimney cover of the fireplace. I showed the cover and it showed a stainless steel stack cover. After I paid the money and then I talked to them, they said I don't get the stainless steel stack cover. What we do is take the cover you have and kind of refurbish it. So when they were installing he top for the chimney cover, one of the workmen shined it a little bit, spray painted it black. They didn't have repair bolts with what they did so I went to the hardware. I myself put the new bolts in so it wouldn't wobble around. A couple of weeks later, I was told by the workmen there that they had to redo that. A couple of weeks later, I got a bill from them for another 85 bucks over and above the a thousand dollars that I'd already paid for refurbishing that. They ended up getting the cover correct and whoever makes the covers for them knows what they are doing. That cover will probably last longer than the house will."

"We had some rotted siding and a storm door that had to be replaced followed by painting of the exterior of the house. The repair of the siding went fine. The storm door was replaced with a Larson door but they installed the old worn out door hardware onto the new door. They assumed I would want the old hardware on a new door. Why would anyone want old hardware on a brand new door? I had to tell them to put the new hardware on which they did. The plastic cover on top of the door covering the hydraulic door closed was also cracked. I have brought this to their attention and not replaced yet. We have hired many painters in the past. Very displeased with the conduct of this bunch. To start they knocked loose two of the deck balusters off the back deck. They left it. I repaired it. These painters was by far the sloppiest. I am still discovering new areas on my house where they left paint smudges and blobs of paint. They left paint on the brick, deck, plants, and gutter downspouts. I pressure washed these areas and removed the paint myself. I specifically asked that the crew take care around the landscaping and plants in front of the house. There was a lot of broken branches around the tree and also the rhododendrons. I came home after work and observed the paint crew was washing off all their equipment in the middle of my lawn. Now there is a nice brown dead spot to remind me. The contract I signed said one color of paint on the house. The paint crew used two. A separate color for trim. Their mistake not mine. They came back and said I owed an additional $700 after the fact. I paid it and am moving on."

"The siding replacement was amazing. The job was completely finished soundly and effectively."

"We contacted two companies that repair concrete. The only thing they wanted to do was tear out the entire porch and replace the concrete. One told us we needed to contact some type of handyman to brace up the roof because they do not do that. I contacted Handyman Connection who sent out Steve. He suggested patching the bad spot then covering the entire porch with an epoxy coating. He would use a color that complemented the rest of the house. He used Olympic Rescue It.
He explained how the Handyman Connection works. They only provide labor  and we were responsible for materials. He would go to Lowes to pick up the proper stuff. They then called us for a credit card number. 
What he suggested was exactly what I thought should be able to be done. After talking to Steve for over an hour I could tell he knew what he was doing. He carved the blue whale at the zoo which he could not figure out  why they wanted it since they do not have any whales. 
He coated the entire porch to below the soil line and ran a thick bead of sealant around where there porch connected to the house.
The color really looked good.
Steve is in high demand so you may need to wait a few weeks for him to get to you.
