"I worked directly with Jasmine. Jasmine was great to work with, very professional and relatable. She was understanding about the sudden changes in color and material I had during multiple consultations. She offered me a vast knowledge of materials and details about the work I hadn’t thought of or didn’t know about. If I have another project in the future I won’t hesitate to reach out to Sentri Homes."

I’m a hardworking person who doesn’t like to leave projects half finished or looking sloppy, I can be a bit of a perfectionist. I’ve always fixed and built almost everything I needed myself and I take pride in being self sufficient. I’ve been an electrician for a year and half now and before that I was fabricating aerators for private residences. I have a wife and two children, so I can handle the chaos of a whole house remodel even if you decide to alter any details halfway through.

"Amazing!  Mark was an excellent communicator.  Had a 1:1 consultation to talk through our options, and his team made a second visit to verify window measurements, to ensure a custom fit to our 80+ yr old window frames.  Being in a historically preserved neighborhood, we have to be very mindful of selecting exterior improvements that meet historic preservation council requirements.  Mark provided a swatch of ~50 colors, to allow us to match our storm windows to existing paint colors - it was perfect!  The house looks so crisp now, not to mention our original 1926 wooden windows are now protected from the elements.  Mark's style was professional and informative.  We got quotes from 2 other companies, and went with Legacy based on their super service awards and quote (which was nearly 1/2 that of his competitors) and his estimate was exactly what he charged - no hidden charges or changes during the process.  A neighbor actually walked by after the work was done, and complimented the paint color on our house.  Our paint color has been the same for 5+ years, but I think because the the quality and crispness of the new storm windows, it gave the entire exterior of the home a face lift that was noticed by the neighborhood.  I couldn't be happier with the work, and look forward to utilizing Legacy again as we work to replace our exterior doors.
Thank you!

"I contacted Top Notch Tile for an estimate and they were very responsive on coming out quickly.  I had 3 separate projects that I wanted them to do:
*  I live in a 3 story condo with a small entryway and stairs leading up to the main level.  I wanted the entire entryway and stairs tiled.
*  Tile backsplash
*  Tile the entire fireplace with flagstone from floor to ceiling.
David Hedger was very thorough in describing how the entire process would go.  He referred me to Louisville Tile in Fishers.  If you choose your tile from them, you get wholesale pricing and Top Notch will pick the tile up and bring it to your place the day of installation.  I had a fairly good experience with Louisville Tile, although they kind of expected me to already know the look I was after and didn't provide a whole lot of design guidance.  But I am incredibly happy with the quality of their materials.
David and his dad, Dennis, were the only two workers on the job.  I cannot say how happy I am with their work.  They were extremely professional and responsive the entire time, and were always willing to communicate what was going on.  They were so conscious about keeping the work area clean, and insisted on staying late, just to make sure that everything looked good before they left.
But when it comes down to it, the most important thing is the quality of their work.  I must say that they went far beyond my expectations in that regard.  I have gotten so many compliments on the finished product, and even when I had minor nit-picks, they went out of their way to come back and make things 100% perfect.  I would recommend this company to anyone who wants a high-end look in their home!
I would love to upload pictures of their work, but I'm having a hard time finding how to do that on the website.

"The people they sent out came out, they came out , I think about 4 or 5 different times. I talked with the technicians and said, "this is ridiculous, the furnace is old" and he said, "we agree, but they only want to do the patching". They would patch it and it would break, they would patch it, and it would break. Finally, I said, "I want a new furnace. What do we have to do to do a new furnace. You've been out here, this is like the 6th time," and he said, "I'll have my manager write something up", and so they did and they replaced the furnace. They tried. They were more interested in patching things than replacing things. They were willing to send out 4 or 5 different parts. The things that I see that would help the most is if it were easier to get a hold of them on the phone or if their website worked. Just being able to contact someone in person. Sometimes, you can't explain everything online. We were able to get a hold of them, we were able to talk to them. It just takes some time, they had to jump through the hoops with their company, we understood that, but they came through and got us a new furnace. A nice new furnace too."

"They worked fast. They were very dedicated to being thorough and doing the best job. They took care of everything pretty quickly, it seemed to take half the time I had anticioated. I had a list of things I thought would take a few companies to take care of and Hoosier Permanent Coatings did it all from carpentry, to gutter replacement, screening my porch, hanging new storm doors and coatings our homne with the last coating it will ever need. We were most impressed and couldn;t be more pleased."

Storm Shelters questions, answered by experts

Adding a storm shelter can increase the value of a home if you live in an area prone to intense storms. According to the Federal Alliance for Safe Homes, safe rooms can increase the home's sale price by 3.5%. That’s about $10,500 on a $300,000 home, which could be a 100% ROI or more if you build a storm shelter that’s on the smaller side.

Depending on your structure, you may not need planning permission. Major excavation, anything that changes the external appearance of your home, or any construction that will affect your neighbors will need planning permission. However, no planning permission is required if you’re just converting an existing space into a root cellar.

Whether it’s more affordable to gut a house than build a new one depends on the markets where you'd be buying and selling. However, it’s usually less expensive to renovate a home than to build new construction.

Most homeowners pay between $100,000 and $200,000 for demolition and remodeling costs, whereas the average cost to build a new home is between $139,000 and $531,300.

A storm shelter's size depends on the number of people who will use it and the types of storms it provides protection from. Tornadoes typically only last a few minutes, so you don't need to spend very long in the shelter when one passes by. You'll want a tornado shelter that's big enough to provide 5 square feet of space per person.

Hurricanes usually last much longer than tornadoes, so you may find yourself in the shelter for hours, not minutes, if you’re facing one. If you're installing a hurricane shelter, you'll need at least 7 square feet per person.

There are energy-efficient options when building a cottage. Select green building materials, high-performance insulation, and energy-efficient windows when designing your cottage. Options such as solar panels, efficient HVAC systems, and LED lighting can lower your utility bills and reduce your environmental impact. Many builders offer energy-efficient upgrades as part of the design process.
