Scott's at this point had roughed in the trunk line and thought they may not be returning to finish because the project was on hold, that said two months later the builder resumes the project and everything is rolling along and I have roofing scrap covering all the vents in the house to stop objects from falling in during construction. After the drywall is complete I'm cleaning and decide to vacuum out the floor vents and what do I find...... Soda cans stuck in four vents (I supplied the drywall crew with drinks and they were not what was in the vents) so this leads me to believe just maybe Scott's might have an idea how they got inside. I also found trunk line smashed into a vent going into the floor covered (hidden by tape) and gaps in the trunk line. They also didn't leave two extra feet on the end of the trunk line for back pressure. The best part when they were finished the house had a terrible smell, with a little inspection Scott's plumbed the condensate drain into a septic line so it would suck sewer gas into the house each time the heat kicked on. They did return to add a condensate pump when I caught what they did, can you imagine the danger of what they did, sewer gas flowing over red hot heating coils...... The owner seemed like a good guy but luckily one of the other subs gave me a heads up on Scotts. And they have uniforms with another business name on them and that's also misleading. In closing I do not recommended them in any way. They did manage to unclogged my kitchen drain (which the previous plumber could not) however they left a disaster. First the removed a check valve in order to access the clog. However when they put back the check valve they cross threaded it causing a lose connection. When someone used the downstairs bathroom it leaked and we had to clean up sewage. They also spattered the muck from the drain everywhere. It was on carpets, walls, golf clubs, antique furniture, Christmas ornaments, and floors. It got everywhere. It took days to cleanup (I am still not sure I got everything) and I had to throw away so much stuff because it was ruined beyond repair.

While the water heater was draining, several pipes near my water input were replaced. Afterwards, it was great. We had better water pressure than ever before. After a couple of days though, the water pressure in our main tub was very low. We had the plumber come out and replace a pipe (that was so clogged you could not get light through even a 2 foot section), but that did not clear up the pressure for water to the tub. The plumber took apart the tub fixture and found it was clogged with rust that could not be removed. This process already took several hours, so I was a bit worried and decided to replace the fixture myself. I was pleased that only the time and materials to replace the pipe were actually billed. After a few days, another issue came up. Water was coming up from the drain in the basement. It took a while of trying to clear out the drain to determine that the sewage pipe in my back yard was collapsed. I was given an estimate on getting the entire pipe replaced and had to leave town on vacation the next day. My only complaint is that I did not feel there was enough communication while I was out of town. I was billed the estimated amount, even though the plumber had to spend a lot of time diagnosing the problem and then fixing some things that had to be removed to diagnose the problem. Not knowing who to call, we called Honey Creek Contracting. They immediately sent someone out because they could hear the panic in my voice and they were on a job site close to us. When they came out, they fully understood how we got the water in the first place and what needed to be done to correct the issue. At that time, they gave us a "patch job" to get us through until we could have the entire roof replaced. Prior to receiving this water in our basement, we had approximately four other roofing contractors out to diagnose the problem. We heard everything from, "there is nothing wrong" to "it is your guttering." After changing the guttering, and that did not help, we were back to square one, that is until HCC came out.
Fast forward to today, HCC has been on the job now for four days. Our anticipated completion date is August 25, 2011. You might think that is extremely too much time to put on a roof, but let me tell you, these guys have encountered just about everything that can go wrong! Jack & Tom will NOT cover up something that needs to be redone. They take their time and do it right the first time. They understand that the Manufacturer's warranty that I recieve completely depends on how they do the installation and they will not let you down. When taking off the old roofing, they found that some genius had not used any nails or screws to install our soffit and facia boards. So, when they removed the roofing and got to the drip edge, everything else came tumbling down and it was that way all around our house! Instead of covering up the issue and moving on, HCC has rebuilt the soffit boxes, replaced the facia boards and will be installing new soffit vents! They will absolutely NOT cover up someone else's work, if it is not done to HCC's rigorous standards. They are pulling off our old siding to make sure the roof will drain properly and not get behind the siding and cause our water problem again.
If you want someone to come in, do the work, and get out, Honey Creek Contracting and Jack Denny is probably not your best option. They do not leave until the job is completed and completed correctly. In talking it over with my wife (and Jack does not know this yet), when it comes time to redo our kitchen, he is our man! There is not going to be any shopping around for contractors, it is going to be Honey Creek Contracting! Jack and Tom Denny will always be welcome at our house!"},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/in/terre-haute/honey-creek-contracting-reviews-2195885.htm"},"position":9}]}

We thought he had an AC drain issue when we initially called. The problem is that we spent several hundreds of dollars for them to clean out our AC units to find out that was not the source of the leak. It was going to be $600, he did give us a discount for doing all this unnecessary work...

FAQs for french drain service projects in Knightsville, IN
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
The cost to install a drain pipe is $600 on average, but the total can range between $150 and $2,000. Some cost factors that influence your project price include the type of drain, the area’s accessibility, the proximity of existing drain lines, and whether you’re installing a new drain or replacing an old one. Replacing the p-trap or s-trap under a single fixture will usually cost around $150, while replacing a main drain pipe can cost well over $2,000.
Yes, most states require plumbers to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

We highly recommend leaving the work of replacing drain pipes to a professional plumber. Drain pipes are a key part of your plumbing system, and making mistakes during the installation or even using the wrong size pipes for your specific fixture can lead to an elevated risk of leaks and clogs. Additionally, drain pipes prevent harmful sewer gas from entering your home, so hiring a professional plumber is essential to keeping the risk of leaks and clogs low and avoid reducing your indoor air quality.
