"We had Marty out to look at possible issues prior to correcting drywall cracks after having IFS out and giving us an estimate. I was looking for a competitive quote and instead I was advised to proceed with correcting the drywall since the crawlspace was nowhere to what I was previously told. Marty could have tried to take advantage of the situation but instead looked at our home as if it was his and said he would do nothing and let time show it's face if there is any other settling. Possibly $0 vs over $23k from a competitor. Afterwards I explained to Marty my concerns with the clear difference in the 2 quotes and broke down my quote from IFS. He stated 2 of the 3 items quoted were completely unnecessary and they wouldn't charge near the same price if we needed work in the future for jacks/piers. Let's hope that's not needed but if so I will be calling them back. They even provided a contractor for the drywall that beat the previous prices I was quoted."

"I called American Basement Solutions with issues I was having in my crawl space and they set up a time for someone to come out and look at the issues. Daniel (a family member of the family that ownes the business) called ahead of time and let me know when he was on his way to my home, He was on time and did a thorough investigation of my crawl spaces after which we discussed what needed to be done and various options to accomplish what I wanted. I was provided with a written estimate, insurance information etc. We scheduled the work at a mutually agreed upon time and his men showed up on time and went right to work completing the work on time.
There was a minor issue with some slight damage to the edge of my cedar siding from the removal of the old crawl space entry. I sent Daniel a photo of the damage via text message and he called me within 15 minutes to discussed a course of action to take care of this, We set a time and Daniel personally came out and took care of the issue. I was happy with the work he did.
I had estimates from 2 other companys prior to contacting American Basement Solutions and found American Basement Solutions to be very competitive with their price. I liked that that they were a locally owned family business and found their assement of what needed to be done very thorough. I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to others.

"Order placed 8/1/14 and took a little longer than originally thought due to odd size of large window but worked out since we had vacation scheduled in the middle of September.  When we got back had a call from Mark on the answering machine saying the windows were in and ready to be installed.  I called him and a date was set for the following Tuesday.  Mike and Cody showed up and began work immediately installing the large window first.  They never stopped work except for a short break to get lunch.  Work done in quick time and Mike and Cody even helped this 81 year old man to put up part of the drapes, blinds and curtains.  Mike even helped to move a large sofa back into place.  This was very much appreciated.  I am well pleased at the professional way Mike and Cory did there work plus the  extra help they did that was not there job.  They had to tired and still had a long drive back to their home base.
