From the start, Renewal has been wonderful to do business with. They care about their customers and routinely make follow up calls to ask if I need anything. Greatly appreciated Shane's time, help, and expertise. Very kind, professional, and takes time to explain the window features and installation process. He was right on time, efficient, respectful of the property, and I valued his work ethic with my project. I’m especially grateful, also, to Kyle for helping me navigate my way through the entire process as he was the first person I spoke to and had a meeting with. He was informative, very kind, helpful, and was willing to accommodate my work hours and stay late to answer my many questions. His knowledge and trustworthiness made me feel comfortable that I made the right decision not only with these windows but with the company as well. We used this company to replace all of our windows. Based on a good experience, we sought them out for our atrium door. We had to place several calls and send emails to get installation issues resolved. Trim askew, door handle wouldn't lock, and several other issues. It required additional visits and actually the door still has issues. The glass is scratched, there are marks inside the double glass pieces and there are scratches on the paint. For the amount we paid, we expected much better. When we asked to speak to a district manager, we were refused and told they are not allowed to provide that contact.

They are terrible and forget about them. They were just awful. The installation was wonderful however the people that do the scheduling they are the problem.

We are truly dissatisfied with our experience with Renewals by Andersen, and we believe they operated using questionable practices for our window replacement. To start, the consultation process took over 4 hours to complete which took time away from our busy schedules to ultimately come to the conclusion that we wanted the exact same design as the pre-existing windows as we stated before the consultation process. During the consultation process, they built out a plan that included three arch top windows. They were able to design the windows and quote them up front, and we then signed a contract agreeing to our 11 window replacement including these three windows. Upon a second appointment with a technician for additional measurements, they stated that they could not do the three arch top windows and that there was no workaround. They stated that the initial sales rep was able to build them in their system due to a “glitch” in the system. We were still committed to the contract that we had signed before less the cost for the three arch top windows. We would not have signed this contract if we had known we would need to go with a second group. We followed up with our sales rep to voice our frustrations regarding this “glitch” and inability to complete the promised service with multiple follow ups. We, to date, have yet to hear back from this representative. Overall, very disappointing practices displayed by Renewals by Andersen and unwillingness to fix their wrongs have forced us to advise others to STAY AWAY from this group!

Sales rep was friendly yet professional and displayed thorough understanding of their product. Pre installation person also very knowledgeable of the product and installation procedures. Installation team was extremely skilled and took utmost care during the install phase. I am very happy with this experience and would use them for future work.

Initially, it seemed fine. Job was done in early Spring. By the Fall and Winter, the windows were drafty and seals were poor. I suffered through the winter after putting up Plexiglass on each window. I have 9 Double hung and one 3 piece picture window. What a disaster. The next Spring, I had the windows reset by another crew. It seemed better, but again, air came at each seal and on windy days, cold air came in through the side jams. I called to get some relief and each time a Technician came out, I got a song and dance. Over the last 2.5 years I have had 10 technicians come out. I have tried to get my money back, but I am blocked from getting through. I need a Produce Liability Lawyer to sue them. Two and a half years of trouble is uncalled for. They have no intent of correcting the problem which their Warranty they advertise is not worth the paper it is written on. I paid $15,000.00. Plus the additional plexiglass, visqueen and tape, higher heating bills in the Winter and Cooling in the Summer. This type of Elder abuse and scam needs to stop. I am a 72 year old divorced male and thought I could trust the company. What adds to the mess, when the Salesman came out to make the sale, he was wearing a side arm which he never mentioned immediately. That should have been evidence for to stop the deal. Live and learn. Anything you can do to help me get my money back for all this trouble is appreciated. Even a referral for an Attorney would help. Thanks. Bruce Strnad 574-386-1760

The sales process went well. The installation also went well. And then the problems began. We had 12 windows and two sliding glass doors replaced. We set a budget at $28,000. All of the windows and doors worked properly except one of the sliding glass doors, which happened to be the door off our kitchen leading out to our screened porch. This door has a lot of traffic. Soon after installation, the door began coming off track. After several adjustment appointments with their service department, some of which the tech never showed, Operations manager, Curt Brown, claimed Renewal by Andersen changed their manufacturing and could no longer provide a door that would fit the opening. He told us to find another contractor, have the doors removed and after they picked up the doors, we would receive a refund. There were several problems with this offer, first, we were forced to research and hire another company to replace one door. If you buy the one door the cost is exceptionally higher versus buying the one door when you buy 12 windows and two doors all at the same time. So we had to to hire another company to replace the new defective door and spend well over $1000 more than the originally budgeted door. Secondly, the replacement door had to be paid for before they could remove the old doors, and Renewal by Andersen took more than three weeks to send a refund after they picked up the doors, and only after we contacted them about the delay. The whole process from the time the problem began until finally receiving our refund was almost two years with not even a single apology from anyone other than the poor people having to field the numerous calls we had to make to resolve the problem, none from anyone in management. To add insult to injury, when the company we hired to replace the doors did their job, it revealed Renewal by Andersen put their door over rotten wood which my replacement technicians corrected. The only satisfaction we now have is our door has been replaced by competent and honest installers. I do not recommend this company, especially if you have to work under operations manager Curt Brown, a completely unprofessional man who likely mis-represents the entire company.

The initial consultation appointment with Jeremy Landis was very informative and he offered the option of going with 2 windows per opening versus our existing 3 window opening. It not only saved us the cost of 4 windows, the 2 window opening now provides more sunlight and surface space for the windows. From our research, we knew we wanted the Fibrex and the High Performance SmartSun Glass because of the year round southern exposure. Next, Brian Morris came out and did the detail measuring of the windows, and double checked every item to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. I really appreciate his attention to detail on the project. He set the appointment for installation before he left and we were already to go forward with the installation. Our installation team of James Murriell and Austin Glenn arrived at 8:00 A.M. ready to install our windows. They confirmed the scope of work to be accomplished and explained what they will be doing to complete the work that day. The quality of their work and their attention to detail makes their installation team an outstanding representative of Renewal by Andersen. They are fine craftsmen of their trade.

Horrible company! Disorganized from the top down. No one ever knows what's going on. From sales to install. To warehouse and management. I have a partial finished sliding door in my house. A "defect" in the door. It has been partially installed for almost 2 months. Now, calls are not returned and given horrible excuses when we are able to speak to "someone in charge". The new door was not and I quote "in the warehouse for some reasons. This has NEVER happened and we don't know where your door is". Called on the DAY of new install. Set up a new schedule date. Didnt even show or call. Better Business Bureau will be notified. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME, MONEY, AND STRESS!!! I haven't even touched the tip of the iceberg on what we have gone through. New home buyers too.

Renewal by Andersen sent a rep to our house. He measured our windows and provided an estimate, after a brief presentation. Initially, we were only going to replace half of our windows. We gave a down payment. The more we thought about it, the financing offer was too good to pass up. So, we asked if we could have our down payment back, and finance the replacement of all of our windows. They were happy to work with us. They gave us our payment back, and quickly helped us with the financing. We scheduled our replacement about 6 weeks in advance. The day of installation, the team arrived promptly at 8 a.m. They were able to get all of the windows in place by noon, and the sealing/installation was complete by about 5 p.m. They left the house very clean, inside and out. The windows were spotless. After the installation, a rep called to double check that everything was in order. She gave us her direct number, in case we had any problems (but, thankfully, there haven't been any issues).

I did not like the high pressure sales tactics of only providing me with the best price if I made the decision the day they came out to provide the quote but the quality of the door and the professionalism of the installation team was very good.

I purchased 5 Windows from Renewal be Anderson of Indiana. I showed the salesman and the rep doing the measuring exactly what I wanted, the window over the front door was to have a 1 1/2 inch revile on the inside of the house. What I received was a window with 3 1/2 inches of Teradyne plastic around the inside. When I tried to contact the company I got no replay. I am 80 years old and feel as if I was taken advantage of because of my age.

The men who came to work on our home were very polite & very sensitive to the work needing to be done on our home. The whole crew was very professional and very hard working and eager to make sure we were happy with them & the work they did before they left. They even pointed out one flaw in one of the windows that came from the manufacturer - that they will make sure will be taken care of. They cleaned up all of their mess created from the removal of the old windows. We were very impressed with this crew as they worked well together and worked to get the job done. The installers were great! Fast, efficient, meticulous BUT the was a snafu on the part of the sales people and the sliding glass door that was ordered came in in the wrong color and now I'm waiting for a new one. To their credit, they didn't expect to be paid after putting in all the windows and will wait until they finish the job by putting the door in.

The window is fine. Other than the actual window, like the frame-work is not finished. The door latch does not work right.

Installer (Frank) arrived exactly on time with his crew. Did a walk thru to verify that there were no hidden difficulties before work was started. Crew set up additional equipment outside in order not to disturb landscaping. We're very proficient in removing old windows. After each window was removed, new window was installed. Had 5 Windows replaced in approximately 4 hours. Everything was cleaned up and all old window material removed. Looked as if they had never been there except for the beautiful new Windows. Kudos to Frank and his crew, I was told he was the best, and it is very true.
