"This was amazing! I had no idea this service existed. After searching and contacting various repair places for my washer, this was the most cost effective option. I figured if it didn't work, my machine is old and I would be out $40, not the $100+ to have a tech come out and just diagnose the problem. I am pretty handy and my washer is old anyway, so if it is broken, I have to get a new one anyway. My tech, Steve, was great! He predicted what was wrong after listening to the machine, calmly walked me through dismantling the machine and when we got down to the motor, he was right! He sent me a link to the part I would need, and let me know to contact them again if I needed help installing it. My machine works even better than before it broke, its beautifully quiet and efficient. I will definitely be saving this company for any future repairs on appliances I may need. The service was $40 + the part cost, which was about $8."

He checked the air temps and showed me the readings on his phone (ain't technology great?) and explained the equipment to an inquisitive grandson. The service call and parts were very reasonable. I returned the water heater, and they again connected me to Holthaus. Holthaus called later that same afternoon and scheduled for the next morning. Dan came out and installed the water heater and new stand in just an hour. He only charged $30 for additional materials related to new gas fittings. He was very polite, transparent, and thorough. "Company uses its cheap maintenance program (Service Plus Club) to push unnecessary repairs/upgrades, and high-pressure tactics to get you to commit before having a chance to research your true needs or competitive prices. Had an inspection today. Recommended two unnecessary things, including replacing my old, but perfectly working garbage disposal. Who proactively upgrades a working garbage disposal?? I definitely needed a water heater. I consider tankless + a water softener, but their quote was 68% higher than a bid I later got (from a highly recommended small, local business). But, I could save $3k if I agreed to the service that day...which was still 23% higher. When I got the later bid, I told them that I was going with the other company. They offered to match the bid. Really??!! If you can do it for that much, why did you give me an inflated bid to begin with? Nope. Trust broken. Club membership canceled. Never going back. Stay away from this predatory company!"
