"As they were fixing warping/wood rot I could see, they found that the entire porch needed replaced due to the builder's poor choice of un-pressure treated wood. I agreed for them to do so, they gave me a fair quote and were able to proceed."

"I had The Works out to replace a ceiling fan, install a window A/C that was located over my spiral staircase, and replace a light fixture. I called Mike at the Works and he came out the next day. He was actually the 5th person I called after the first 3 never returned my call and the other never showed up after saying he would be there two days in a row. Mike gave me a fair estimate and his guys came out the next day. They were very nice, professional, and cleaned up everything. I am extremely happy and now I finally have a handyman. Mike actually made me feel like he wanted my business and wanted to help."

Treehouse Builders questions, answered by experts

The only real drawback to green building is that it’s more expensive up front, with per-square-foot prices sitting 33% higher than what you’d pay to build a traditional home. The higher cost is due to more expensive building materials and more labor to ensure every aspect of the home is as efficient as possible. However, green buildings often save money in the long run, so this is just a temporary downside.

Before you get started on your hydroponic garden project, decide on your garden’s location. For a small office or home garden, consider an indoor hydroponic garden. Contrarily, if you plan on making a profit from your hydroponic garden, you might need to rent land or indoor space to grow your plants.

In most cases, you can attach a greenhouse to any type of house. However, certain factors need to be considered, such as the structural integrity of the house, available space, and local building regulations. You should consult with a professional contractor or architect to assess the feasibility and ensure proper construction methods.

Yes, with proper heating or cooling systems and energy-efficient glazing.

Don’t forget to factor in the climate where you live during the planning stage. If your area is prone to bitter cold and heavy snow, you might want to invest in stronger greenhouse materials like a concrete slab, steel frame, and glass walls or plan to take your greenhouse down for the winter.
