Walked off the job unfinished and I would not recommend them!

Appointment - Michael came soon after we spoke. I was having the drywall of my 2 car garage primed and painted. His estimate was very reasonable. The two men who came worked hard, was very experienced and was very helpful and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves and did a good job. The were adamant about making sure they had handled everything and I was satisfied with their work. I will definitely use this company again.

The workers always put down a covering on floor to walk on. Workers were very polite. Workers sensitive to detail.

I had The Works out to replace a ceiling fan, install a window A/C that was located over my spiral staircase, and replace a light fixture. I called Mike at the Works and he came out the next day. He was actually the 5th person I called after the first 3 never returned my call and the other never showed up after saying he would be there two days in a row. Mike gave me a fair estimate and his guys came out the next day. They were very nice, professional, and cleaned up everything. I am extremely happy and now I finally have a handyman. Mike actually made me feel like he wanted my business and wanted to help.

Came the next day after we called to fix our problem.

He cleaned out my gutters. He came on a day that was freezing and he could not complete the job but came back a few days later like he said he would and finished the job.

Great people skills, haven't project yet because timing issues on our end but there workin with us

The owner was great at communication - both for setting up a time to come look at the job, again at setting up a time for the installation and after the install was done to see if we were happy with the job. The men that came were quiet but polite guys and they just went to work and didn't stop til the job was complete. They did a great job at cleaning up after the job was finished. We are very happy with the work performed.

I hired them to remove packed lint from my outside dryer vent which was pretty high up in the second floor. I hired them and agreed to a price on the phone before they came out, which I've learned I wouldn't do again. It literally took less than 10 minutes to crawl up the ladder, pop off the vent cover and remove packed lint. I feel like I paid a bit too much for the scope of work performed and the time frame it took.

I had to replace a floor and have the toilet reset and they fixed siding that came loose. The job was done over two days, and everything was done well.

He was willing to go out of the way to make sure all projects were thoroughly done.

Professional services and results. My wife was happy with the completed job, the clean up, and the price.

gave me a price on the spot that I was able to live with, had them do the work right then.

Michael Johnston installed a rail on our front steps. He also removed a large shrub. He did not take out the stump of the shrub but he informed me up front that he could not do this. The work that he did was executed well and in a timely fashion. He also showed up when he indicated he would and was very interested in helping us create a safe and attractive rail. We were pleased with the work and felt he charged a reasonable price.

I was told the work was not going to cost anything over $400. Half way through the job he informed me that it was going to cost $75 more. He was on his cell phone most of the time probably why he needed more labor to finish the job. I also was told on the phone if they needed any more parts they would get them and just add them to the bill, but we he arrived he pressured me to go get the parts as i was working on putting a kitchen together. Overall completely unprofessional although they did do a good job on the siding.

I was not able to use mike at this time. But he was very responsive and helpfull. If and when I do work on the property , I will definately contact Mike. He is honest and does what he says he will do.

The Works crew was very professional as well as friendly. They did a great job and we were quite happy with the finished basement. Michael (the owner) was also very patient and accepting when plans were changed on him.

Not punctual on when he said he would have it done missed 2 different times for delivery .The shed was not built profesionaly came up short on a few pieces and used them anyway.We accepted the shed and covered the bad spots but we think he is not afinish grade carpenter.
