"Wonderful experience as they removed 20 years old old tint and applied their ceramic tint. The clarity is awesome compared to the old tint! Jim and team did a fantastic job with the utmost professionalism. Highly recommended!"

"Jack did an excellent job on my windows and one of them was 18 feet from the floor. I am very pleased with how they look and the performance of the tint ( glare and heat)! I would recommend him for any home owner needing window tinting!"

"Ryan was courteous and punctual. The only downside to the experience is that Ryan was "hesitant" to install darker tint on our sliding glass door facing east. His hesitation, as it turns out, was well-founded because we found it to be too dark even on the sunniest days. As with any service, I need stronger guidance from the person that knows better than I, which is why I am hiring someone to do the work. Although I said I wanted darker (and assuming Ryan disagreed with the choice based upon his professional experience), I would have expected to be convinced of a better option."

"I have taken my vehicles to Chris & Jen for many many years and recommend them constantly on all platforms. They have even done commercial vehicles and buildings. If you are in the market for window tinting this is your go to place. They have also installed tires, remote start, and a slew of other items as well. This is truly your one stop shop!!!"

"The service was awful. They ended up losing the ash tray. They were also supposed to replace the windshield because there was a ding in it. They charged an additional $80 and the windshield was not even repaired. They also worked on my husband’s car and they left the carpets very wet. The windows were also not cleaned. They would not do anything to resolve any of the issues. I would never use the company again."

Window Tinting questions, answered by experts

Whether window film is better depends on individual preferences and specific needs. In some instances, window film can be much less costly to install. Aesthetics is also a deciding factor. Window film may have a more significant appeal for design minimalists looking for a clean and streamlined look without the heaviness that comes with curtains. On the flip side, they can also appeal to design maximalists looking for creative expression in the form of color, patterns, and texture. Choosing between window film and traditional window coverings depends on factors like desired functionality, aesthetics, and personal preferences.

Cellular shades, also known as honeycomb shades, are the most energy-efficient and insulating window treatments. Their honeycomb structure is made of soft fabric that forms layered cell pockets. These pockets trap air, creating a thermal barrier that reduces heat loss in the winter and blocks heat gain in the summer. For even greater insulation, consider double- or triple-cell varieties. Side-tracked cellular shades, which seal the edges of the window frame, can further minimize air leaks and maximize energy efficiency.

The most energy-efficient windows are double—or triple-pane windows with low-emissivity (Low-E) coatings and gas fills between the panes. These windows reduce heat transfer, prevent drafts, and help maintain a consistent indoor temperature. But if replacing windows isn’t in your budget, pairing your existing windows with insulating window treatments can still make a noticeable difference in home comfort and monthly bills.

The visibility through tinted house windows depends on the lighting. During the day, when it is brighter outside, privacy film prevents people from seeing into your home. However, this effect reverses at night. If you have lights on inside, it becomes brighter indoors than outdoors, allowing people to see inside. To optimize privacy, you can select from various shades of film, ranging from lighter to darker, which affects how much is visible from the outside.

Upgrade to double-glazed glass or apply energy-efficient coatings to reduce heat loss and utility costs.
