Customers say: Super punctual

"My windows look amazing. Enrique was punctual, and worked really hard cleaning both the inside and outside. He also cleaned the screens and the trim around the windows. This is the best they have ever been done. I would highly recommend Enrique from Spotless Window Cleaning. I will definitely use them again."

"I needed a glass man to help me move a huge glass top from a dining room table. David was where I needed him within 90 mins! When he was at my house he looked at my in window blinds because most dont function correctly. He spent time accessing and measuring and he will definitely be replacing those!"

"Very well, as is typical of this company. They (2-person team) arrived a little early, which I'm always happy with, and got right to work. The work went quickly as they have an efficient process in accomplishing the work. As, expected, the windows were sparkling. I've had them several times over the past few years for both window cleaning and power washing, and plan to continue with them for future needs."

Customers say: True professional

"Requested quote for installation. Jeff came and provided estimate for installation. Installation a few days later. Two man team, both stayed on sight. Door trims, Storm door and entry door removed. Entry cleaned out for new frame. Installation of new pre-hung entry door. Leveled door. Informed owner when leaving worksite for lunch/hardware run. Reinstalled trim, Transferred hardware to new door. Reinstalled storm door. Cleaned up all construction debris and dirt. Only wish would be to confirm start time window for installation /or/ call prior to arrival."

Windows questions, answered by experts

High winds can be harmful to casement windows and all types of windows. Because casement windows can swing outward, high winds could slam the window against the side of the house, bend the hinges, or even rip the window off of the hinges. If you hear some strong gusts outside, it’s best to pull the casement windows shut until it all blows over.

It’s easy to tell if you have low-E windows. Light a match or grab a pen light and hold it up to your windows. You should see multiple reflections in the window—four for double-pane windows. If one of the reflections is a slightly different color than the other three, you have low-E windows. If you don’t have low-E windows, all the reflections will be the same color.

During hurricanes or other major storms, high winds can cause objects and debris to fly through the air, which can break your windows. Depending on how strong the storm is, the winds themselves may be strong enough to break your windows, too. Investing in storm windows or hurricane shutters can help protect you against potential window breakage.

Yes, you can install a bay window in an existing house. You’ll need to have a structural engineer draw up plans to add the necessary support to your exterior load-bearing walls and a general contractor to make the changes to the framing around the new wall opening. This will cost an average of $3,000. After that work is done, a window installer can set the new bay window in place.

ENERGY STAR®-certified windows are the most energy-efficient windows on the market. This certification means that the window meets strict efficiency guidelines set forth by the Environmental Protection Agency. While they might cost more upfront, they can save you money on your energy bills in the long run. ENERGY STAR®-certified windows lower household energy bills by an average of 12% annually.
