"Noe showed up immediately, no questions asked and did service at reasonable price, cleaned gutters, and the downspouts completely at a time in which we had overflowing gutters and water in the basement. He was communicative, clean, and I look forward to long relationship with him and his company."

"The job seemed well executed at the time.  It took 2 days.   The result looked good and the work comprehensive.  However, and possibly due to the harsh winter, some of it has not held up.  In fact more of the sealing and joint sand has come undone than in the previous 4 years since the last time the joint sand and Surebond SB-1300 sealer were applied (that time by someone else).  I have left messages for TC to return and examine the work now, 9 months later, but he has not responded.
I have to add that I am not entirely surprised, as I had a smaller job at a rental property of mine in Chicago that TC said he's look at but never did, even after I left him multiple reminders.  I have to assume he felt the the job was too small, but could certainly have said so.  I am submitting this poor review because I want to share my now repeat experience of being ignored when things get inconvenient.

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

The cost of sandblasting depends on the scope of the project, the surface type, labor, and equipment required. Services typically cost between $50 and $80 per hour, though most professionals charge by surface area at a rate of $1.50 to $7 per square foot. Total project costs can range from $700 to $12,500, with an average homeowner spending around $3,200 to sandblast a 1,000-square-foot surface.

Sanding and pressure washing serve different purposes in deck maintenance, so one is not necessarily better than the other. Pressure washing is ideal for annual cleaning to remove dirt, grime, mold, and mildew. Sanding is a deeper restoration method used to smooth rough surfaces, remove an old finish, and prepare the wood for a new coat of stain or paint. The ideal process for refinishing a deck is to first clean it (with a power washer), then sand it, and finally apply the new stain or finish. While cleaning should be done annually, sanding and staining are typically needed only every one to three years.

Sandblasting is a common method for removing paint. It works great if the underlying material is tough. This is because you can then use more abrasive sandblast materials, making the paint removal process much faster and less expensive. If you plan on removing many layers of paint on smooth surfaces, you’ll need to be more careful about which materials you choose to use to sandblast.

Seal joints, clean debris regularly, and address cracks promptly to maintain appearance and stability.

There are two ways sandblasting could be dangerous: improper use of the equipment so that the stream touches your skin, and air particles created during the sandblasting process. While the first is easier to avoid and fairly obvious, the second has the potential to be more serious and is much more difficult to understand. This is why you should always hire a pro to sandblast, as they understand the dangers associated with the process. If proper safety measures are taken, then sandblasting is rarely dangerous.
